Cornerstone Heath Care is actively seeking a bright and energetic Advanced Practice
Provider for a position in High Point, NC to join their team of physicians and Advanced Practice
Providers with Cornerstone Inpatient Specialists. Cornerstone's Hospitalists admit only
Cornerstone patients to High Point Regional Hospital, a 380 bed facility that has been
recognized for outstanding quality achievements. The hospitalist team utilizes PA and NP
providers in an autonomous role and encourages team work amongst all providers.
Cornerstone is a group of more than 300 physicians and advanced practice
providers representing a wide range of specialties. Cornerstone is a physician-owned and
managed multi-disciplinary practice with over 80 locations in communities throughout central
North Carolina. Cornerstone was started in High Point in 1995 with 42 physicians and 15
practices and is now one of the fastest growing physician groups in the Southeast. We are
transitioning from a traditional “fee-for-service” model to a patient centered medical home
system (fee-for-value model) providing expanded access, increased coordination of care,
enhanced patient education for prevention and treatment of chronic disease, and sophisticated
technological support. Each of our 32 primary care practices have been recognized by the
National Committee for Quality Assurance as a Patient-Centered Medical Home. We were also
approved to participate in the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare, Medicare Shared Savings
Program as an Accountable Care Organization.
