How Long Does It Take To Get Six Pack Abs By Jared McFadden Table of Contents Why I Decided To Write This Book 1 How Long Will It Take To Get My Six Pack 3 The Formula 6 Conclusion 7 Why I Decided To Write This Book I decided to write this book about because there has been a large amount of people that will post comments on my YouTube videos and ask me basically the same question, “How long does it take for me to get a six pack”. Since I really appreciate my fans, I decided to write this informative book for you. The very first fact that I want to present to you is that it is almost impossible to accurately tell you how long it will take you to get a six pack. Genetics plays a very important role in determining how long it will take you. Another important factor that we need to consider is an individual’s determination. No one but yourself really knows how dedicated you are to obtain your six pack. So in result, even though you’ll find out how long it will take you to get a six pack, you might not put 100% effort and therefore will take you longer than anticipated. 1 With that being said, always know that it isn’t how long it takes to reach your goal, it’s the fact that you never gave up. 2 How Long Will It Take To Get My Six Pack There are three things that we must know In order to determine the length of time: · Current body fat percentage · How much body fat you are going to lose each week · The body fat percentage that you will start to see your abs #1 – Calculating Body Fat Percentage Ok the first piece of data that we need is your current body fat percentage. The most accurate test to determine this is called a body composition test performed at a hospital but since most people don’t want to take that route, fortunately there are calculators that we can use. Click here to determine your body fat percentage. 3 #2 – How Quickly Will You Be Able To Burn Fat In this step, we need to determine how much fat you will lose per week. For men, most of their fat is stored around their belly and losing that fat can be difficult. The exact rate of how much fat you will lose per week depends on different factors such as your determination, healthy eating habits, exercise routine, etc. Generally, people that are more overweight tend to lose weight faster compared to a person that is only marginally overweight because they use more calories to move. The average person should be losing 0.5% - 0.7% body fat per week. If you are really dedicated, you should be losing at least 1% body fat per week. #3 – Determining When your Six Pack Should Be Showing Generally for men, your six pack should be showing at around 7% - 8% body fat. For women, it’s going to be around 16% - 20% body fat. 4 The size of your abs will play a big role in how much they will show. The more developed and bigger your abs is, the easier it is to see them. So if you are already have a low body fat percentage and you still cannot see your six pack, you need to increase the size of your abs by doing more six pack exercises. 5 The Formula Now the moment you’ve been waiting for. Now that we have all the data, it is now time to plug these numbers into the formula to give as an approximation. Male Formula: (Current Body Fat% - 7/ (Body Fat Loss Per Week) = Number of weeks to get a six pack Female Formula: (Current Body Fat% - 18/ (Body Fat Loss Per Week) = Number of weeks to get a six pack Example: Current Body Fat Percentage: 20% Body Fat Lost Per Week: 0.3% Six Pack Start Showing: 7% Gender: Male (Current Body Fat% - 7/ (Body Fat Loss Per Week) = Number of weeks to get a six pack (20 – 7) / 0.5 = 26 weeks (approximation) 6 Conclusion Even though these steps helped you to determine the approximated length, try not to focus too much on the length of time. I believe that you will eventually get a six pack if you have a good exercise routine, eating habits, and determination. A lot of people give up because they either rush to try to get results or are just lazy. Don’t be like those people and always believe that you can do it! 7
