connect with people, to share what we deem as

of hope and reconciliation, made available by the

magnitude of the message but there are
advantages that can be had when we commit to

There are benefits to sharing the gospel of
God longs for a relationship with us. He
sent His Son as a model for us to follow. Jesus
shared His faith with the lost and confused and we
should do the same. Whether it was the woman at
the well who came looking for water but found the
living water that never dries up. Or the religious
leader asking for clarity under the cover of night
whose questions give way to the most well known
and often quoted verse in the bible, “For this is
how God loved the world: He gave his one and
only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will
not perish but have eternal life” John 3:16. Let’s
make the commitment to share the message of
Jesus, it benefits those that don’t know Him and
Jesus Christ. It’s advantageous for both the person
moves us who believe to grow stronger and more
sharing and for the person receiving the message.

person in Haiti, Mr. Jacques Lousemmy.
FOREIGN MISSION
The New Hope Foreign Mission Ministry grew out of
the church’s desire to respond to the devastating
earthquake in Haiti on January 12, 2010. The church
raised an offering of $4,000 to help those displaced
by the earthquake. Mrs. Elvie Cadet, a former
member of the church born in Haiti, expressed that
she was going to Haiti some months after the
earthquake. The pastor approached Mrs. Cadet and
asked if she would take the $4,000 and see how
many people she could help while in Haiti.

New Hope Foreign Mission Ministry was formed.
The early goal of the ministry was to send barrels of
goods to two regions in Haiti, Ounaminthe and Cap

medical supplies to Monrovia, Liberia to help stem
the tide of the Ebola crisis. Every four months the
ministry sends three barrels of goods and food to

ministry sent $1,200 to a church in Dominica to
help them purchase tiles for the floor of their

In May 2013 at the suggestion of Mrs. Brenda Perry
the ministry began to explore the idea of helping
young people receive a quality education in Haiti
through sponsorships. As a result the Adopt A
Student program was born. For $144 a year a
sponsor pays for a student’s school tuition for a
whole year, purchases a school uniform, and gives
each student a monetary birthday and Christmas
gift. In 2014 the program sponsored 53 students.
Currently the ministry is sponsoring 48 students. The
ministry has two translators, Beatrice Morriseau and

A.D. picks up where the smash hit, "The Bible," left
off, continuing the greatest story ever told and
exploring the exciting and inspiring events that
followed the Crucifixion of Christ. As most of the
world knows, the Crucifixion was only the beginning
of the story. The immediate aftermath of Christ's
death had a massive impact on his disciples, his
mother Mary, and key political and religious leaders
of the era, completely altering the entire world in an
instant. Watch as the disciples struggle to survive
and share their beliefs, guiding us from the sorrow
of Christ's ultimate sacrifice to the awe-inspiring
wonder of the Resurrection and beyond. From

Burnett comes an uplifting spiritual journey through
the later chapters of biblical history.
