The Pops Series opens with singer songwriter hits from the
1970’s, adapted for the rich sounds of the full New Haven
Symphony Orchestra featuring singers Jayne Kelli and AJ
Swearingen. This intimate acoustic show will include heartfelt
classics from Cat Stevens, Jim Croce, Joni Mitchell, Carole King,
James Taylor, Fleetwood Mac, Gordon Lightfoot and more.

influential composer of the film industry, John Williams has
been awarded 22 Grammys, five Academy Awards, and four
Golden Globes for his memorable movie themes. Led by
NHSO principal pops conductor Chelsea Tipton, hear the
NHSO perform his iconic movie music live at Hamden
Middle School.
