National Executive meeting at Jaipur:The National Executive meeting held at Jaipur on 09-04-2015 & 10-04-2015 under the
presidentship of Com. Islam Ahmad. The meeting begins with flag hoisting
ceremony. National and NFTE flags were hoisted by Com. Islam Ahmad president
and Chandeshwar Singh G.S. respectively. The subject Committee started at 1100
a.m. in Jan Upyogi Bhavan. All the Circle Secretaries/Office bearers/Special
invitees attended baring two, three circles. More than 300 observers were also
participated in the meeting. G.S. given brief report of activities from Jabal Pur All
India Conference to Jaipur National Executive meeting. He explained the role of
CHQ in taking the issues like stagnation of RM, wage erosion, superannuation
benefits, problems with NEPP, bonus and compassionate appointments etc. He
particularly mentioned the way the councils/works committee meetings taking
place in all circles. Management become a mute spectator in the matter. And also
reported the importance of two days strike which will be going to take place on 21st,
22nd April, 2015. All the circle Secretaries/Executive members expressed their views
about staff problems and organizational matters of their circles. A seminar was
organised on 09-04-2015 at 1500 hrs. The subject of Seminar is Save BSNL – Save
Nation. Shri N.K. Singh CGM, Rajasthan was the Chief Guest to the open session. All
the circle Secretaries of BSNLEU, SNEA(I), AIBSNLEA, SEWA, AIGETOA,
SNATTA attended and addressed the open session. All the GM’s in the head quarter
also participated in the open session and given their valuable suggestions to
strengthen the BSNL. Shri N.K. Singh CGM said that increase of revenue is very
important at this Juncture. There is no threat to BSNL Survival. He appealed the
workers to give satisfactory service to our esteemed customers. Com. R.G. Dixit,
Chairman Reception Committee explained the field difficulties, which were facing
with acute shortage of minimum material to do work. G.S. in his brief speech
expressed that some of the managers are harassing the staff with ill motive. It is not
a healthy situation in the company. The open session ended at 1945 hrs.
At the end G.S. given reply to all issues raised by circle Secretaries/Executive
members in the meeting. He also highlighted the issue of ex-service men who have
competed in JTO LICE, but the management is depriving their legitimate demand
and suppressing it through appeal in Higher Court despite fourable Judgments from
Hon’bel CAT’s & Chandigarh High Court. The president in his concluding address
expressed apprehension that pension is in danger position. We have to struggle hard
to save pension. CHQ conveyed warm greetings to Com. R.G. Dixit Circle Secretary
Rajasthan and his team for their hard work to make the National Executive a
successful one.
