Respected comrade, Please find below a few marketing strategies to be adopted by the corporate office in order to rope in more customers into the fold of BSNL. 1. There are around 2 lacs non executive and executives families. If each family head ,i.e our employee can bring minimum 25 customers under CUG with a fixed rent per month , the total connection of mobile will increase by 50 lacs. The revenue will recurring. At present Corporate office is not giving this facility to all. If this happens certainly our revenue increases. 2. Let the union don’t wait for the parliament to pass the bill making it mandatory for govt offices / PSUs to use only the BSNL products. The union can arrange meeting in the circle / SSA level and request these govt offices / PSUs union leaders to give us business as we did for HMT by placing them 3lacs wrist watches. 3. By introducing LBS ( Location based services ) , this will help the logistic business. The LBS helps the tracing of the vehicle movements. All the vehicles will be having GPRS. 4. By introducing more popular packages of SMS & Other VAS( Value added services ). 5. By introducing user friendly marketing techniques i.e by increasing the retail outlets.
