The Board of Directors of NRCS Federal Credit Union are proud
to present Darren Seidel as the recipient of the 2015 NRCS FCU
Scholarship. Darren Seidel will receive a $500.00 scholarship for
his continuing education. He is the son of Darrel and Cheryl
Seidel of Sanderson, TX.
Darren will graduate from Angelo State University this summer
with a double major in Animal Science and Geoscience with a
minor in mathematics. In August Darren will be attending Purdue
University where he will pursue a Master’s degree in Agricultural
Engineering and continue his education and earn a Ph.D.
Darren’s career goals are to be professionally licensed in geology
and engineering in order to consult in developing novel solutions
to water efficiency and wastetowater management problems from highly concentrated livestock
and/or agricultural developed areas. He hopes to aid producers in developing more economically
sound methods of production and lessen their overall water consumption.

NRCS Federal Credit Union is participating in “Credit Unions
Care” a campaign to increase visibility and awareness in the
communities we serve by illustrating the many ways credit
unions give back by collecting donations for Cook Children’s
Medical Center. Stop by and donate a dollar for the kids.
