The Annual Educational Meeting, Membership Meeting and Board of Directors Meeting of the
New York Medical Directors Association will be held at the Desmond, Albany, New York on
May 5-6, 2015 from 6:30PM to 8:30PM on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 and from 8:00AM to 4:30PM
on Wednesday, May 6, 2015.
OBJECTIVES:
The program will enable the participants to:
 Understand the role of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in a skilled nursing facility
 Learn techniques and skills for the management of difficult families
 Understand e-prescribing requirements and how to implement them in your practice and
facility
 Decrease avoidable admission and re-admission rates in your facility
 Improve your billing and coding

extent of their participation in the activity.
CMD Credit Statement: This live activity has been pre-approved by the
American Board of Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine (ABPLM) for a
total of 5.5 credit hours in Management hours and 1 clinical hour toward
certification as a Certified Medical Director (CMD) in Post-Acute and Long-Term
Care medicine. The CMD program is administered by the ABPLM. Each physician
should claim only those hours of credit actually spent on the activity.
