Participate in Connecting (ex)You Traineeship Programme
Are you excited about gaining first-hand knowledge and experience in radio journalism? Are you
interested in learning about community radio, European identity and civic participation? Are you eager
to attend international radio trainings and produce radio programmes in cooperation with students
from Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina?
We offer 4 Traineeships
Community Radio ORANGE 94.0 offers a two-year traineeship opportunity for 4 students based in
Vienna, interested in radio production and community media. The trainees will attend 4 international
training sessions as well as a number of webinars. The international training sessions will take place in
Vienna, Skopje and Sarajevo. Radio ORANGE 94.0 will further organise personal coaching and
mentoring, conducted by experienced trainers who will be supervising participants´ progress
throughout the entire programme.
By participating in the Connecting (ex)You Traineeship Programme, the trainees will gain knowledge in
both technical and editorial aspects of radio journalism. In cooperation with trainees from Bosnia and
Herzegovina and Macedonia they will also produce several radio programmes. The participants will
have an excellent opportunity to expand their media, intercultural, communication and social
competences, as well as explore their creativity and create new professional networks.

Application requirements
If you are:
• an undergraduate student;
• between the ages of 18 and 25;
• in good command of English as well as in Serbo-Croat-Bosnian (SCB) or Macedonian;
• able to demonstrate a strong interest in radio journalism and community media;
• from Ex-Yugoslavia or with Ex-Yu background;
• interested to broaden your knowledge of the EU, its history and diversity;
• interested in promoting democratic values and civic participation;
• ready to actively commit yourself to participate throughout the entire programme cycle,
