Welcome to Oak Bay’s community movie house! We are
welcoming back a tradition of big screen releases to the
community through our regularly scheduled movie nights in
the David Foster Foundation Theatre.
This June, enjoy critically acclaimed movies and experience
the drama with friends in the comfortable luxury of Victoria’s
newest movie house. Each Tuesday you will be treated to
a gourmet individual pizza*, an ice cream sandwich for
dessert and plenty of house-made buttered popcorn!
Movie Night tickets are $24 per person + tax and include
food and movie admission.
As a special treat for Father’s Day we will also be hosting a special movie
matinee at 12 noon on June 21.Tickets include a burger, house-made
potato chips, dessert and movie admission.

in California’s Central Valley. Coach White and his new students find that they
have much to learn about one another, but things begin to change when
White realizes the boys’ exceptional running ability. More than just physical

ethic and commitment to their team all play a factor in forging these novice
runners into champions.

Although the Civil Rights Act of 1964 legally desegregated the South,
discrimination was still rampant, making it very difficult for blacks to register
to vote. In 1965, an Alabama city became the battleground in the fight for
suffrage. Despite violent opposition, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. pressed forward
on an epic march from Selma to Montgomery, and their efforts culminated in
President Lyndon Johnson signing the Voting Rights Act of 1965.

Robotics prodigy Hiro lives in the city of San Fransokyo. Next to his older
brother, Tadashi, Hiro’s closest companion is Baymax, a robot whose sole
purpose is to take care of people. When a devastating turn of events throws
Hiro into the middle of a dangerous plot, he transforms Baymax and his other
friends, Go Go Tamago, Wasabi, Honey Lemon, and Fred into a band of
high-tech heroes.

This film explores the last quarter century of the great if eccentric British
painter J.M.W. Turner. Affected by the death of his father and loved by a
housekeeper, he forms a close relationship with a seaside landlady with whom
he eventually lives with in Chelsea, where he dies. We follow his travels, where
he paints, stays with aristocracy, visits brothels, has himself strapped to the
mast of a ship so that he can paint a snowstorm, and is both celebrated and
reviled by the public and royalty.
