The Ontario Hockey Association Development 1 Coach Weekend will take place July 24-26, 2015 in Waterloo at Wilfrid Laurier University. The 3-day seminar will provide Junior and Minor hockey coaches from across Ontario an opportunity to learn from the experiences of some of the top leaders and coaches of the OHA, OHL, AHL, and NHL. Seminar topics will include hockey experts sharing their personal experiences of the new challenges coaches face with the new rule emphasis, season planning, offensive and defensive team play, tryouts and training camps, and many more. The Seminar will facilitate a Hockey Canada Development 1 Trained Clinic for those coaches wishing to obtain the minimum coaching requirements by the OHA. Participants will have the option to participate in both the Trained clinic and Seminars or only the Seminars.
