Catholics Encounter Christ
A CEC weekend for men will be April 10-12 at Camp Comeca south of Cozad. The weekend
starts Friday night and ends on Sunday night. Registration forms are available at the office.

Father Marty will be gone this week after Easter (6th-10th) for some much needed R & R so there
won’t be any Masses during the week. The regular schedule will resume with Mass on Saturday.
Communion to the Homebound
If anyone is interested in helping to take Communion to the Homebound, please call the office or talk
to Sister Paulette. The schedule right now is to do it once every 7 weeks, but if more are signed
up, it could be once every 8 or more weeks. This is done on Sundays at 9:00 a.m.
Divine Mercy Sunday
A Feast of Mercy Celebration will be held at the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary
in Grand Island with Most Reverend Joseph G. Hanefeldt as the celebrant. It will start at 2:00 p.m.
with a Video and Procession Assembly and then end with a Mass at 5:00 p.m. Flyers with more
details are at the doors.

“Open the Door to Faith” Halsey Spring Assembly will be held April 24-25, 2015. Registration begins
at 3 pm on Friday, April 24th at the NE State 4-H Camp Main Building at Halsey. We have an exciting
raffle planned with many prizes. This fundraiser helps fund our year’s activities. The most excellent
bonus is having a wonderfully amazing time growing in faith with our Catholic sisters and making
new friends. Reservation deadline is April 11th and sign up sheets with options and cost are at
the doors.

Hungering for Celebration!
We prayed, fasted, and gave alms--and now we celebrate! Our Lenten journey with CRS Rice
Bowl ends in our own hearts, where Jesus reigns forever. Let us rejoice in our risen Lord--and
in the lives we’ve changed this Lent in Tanzania, Nicaragua, Niger, Lebanon, the Democratic
Republic of Congo, and all over the world! Don’t forget to turn in your CRS Rice Bowl!
Mark Your Calendars
The meeting to set up the Church calendar for July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016 will
be held for ALL DREs on May 6th at 7:00 p.m. at the Parish Hall at Loup City. Please
have dates for any activities you want on the calendar with alternative dates if needed.
Then the meeting for the rest of the parish activities will be held on May 20th at LC.
