Spring has finally sprung and she is surely welcome after a somewhat cold and wet winter. I, personally, am happy it is here and I am all set for a fun final quarter of this Masonic year. It continues to amaze me how fast time flies. I must be getting old! At least I am doing it surrounded by some of the best men and women I know! As I mentioned a month or so ago, we have some exciting events coming up to round out this year with a “bang!” Please make plans to attend the coming Stated and Open Meetings as we follow through with the Community Builder Award, Masonic Service Awards, Scholarship Presentations and the “Golden Trowel Award.” All of these are very important and prestigious milestones for the individuals involved, and your Lodge invites you to join us as we honor them. Watch your emails and coming newsletters for details. Please try and send in your dues if you haven’t already done so. The time is drawing near for a lot of unnecessary and time consuming paperwork if you haven’t sent them in so please, please do so as soon as you are able. I hope to see you at Lodge real soon! There are 2 cornerstone leveling ceremonies scheduled for May 2 in Texas. One is in Plano and the other is in Fredericksburg.
