CAREER OPPORTUNITY
Business Development Manager
Kelowna, British Columbia
As a member of the management team the Business Development Manager works to improve the
organization’s market position and achieve financial growth. This role assists with establishing
long-term organizational strategic goals, developing key client relationships, identifying business
opportunities, as well as maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions. The
Business Development leader is responsible for providing leadership to CUSO wealth
management advisors and service teams. This position requires a leader who demonstrates
consummate leadership abilities, has the ability to build organizational commitment across CUSO
partners and has strong business development and negotiation skills. The Business Development
Manager encourages accountability, has organizational awareness and is an innovative thinker.
Implementation experience and advanced advisory service skills are essential. The incumbent will
be required to travel, work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.
Start Date: to be arranged with the successful candidate
QUALIFICATIONS
Preference will be given to a candidate with a bachelor’s degree or business diploma plus seven
to ten years’ industry experience in a combination of sales and leadership roles. Specialization in
Financial Planning with a CFP or CLU designation would be an asset or equivalent education
and/or experience.
