OHR is seeking a writer to provide coverage of the Standardbred Ontario Sires Stakes (OSS) season. The successful candidate will be required to sign a contract that will run until March 31, 2016 and which may be extended an additional 12 months upon the mutual agreement of both parties. Scope of Work During the 2015 OSS season, the successful candidate will provide the following; 1. One (1) post-race feature story (approx. 500 words) on each OSS Event (a1approx. 88 events), posted within 2 hours of the completion of the events. Stories should include items of local interest to the track location and interviews with the participants. 2. Two (2) feature stories (pre- and post-event) for OSS Grassroots Semi-Finals events (September 18 and 19, 2015) (Total of 4 stories at approx. 500 words). 3. Two feature stories (post-draw and post-race) for the OSS Grassroots Championships (September 26, 2015) (2 stories at approx. 1000 words). 4. Two feature stories (post-draw- and post-race) for the OSS Gold Super Finals (October 10, 2015) (2 stories at approx. 1000 words). 5. One feature story (approx. 500 words) prior to special OSS track events (approx. 10 events). 6. Respecting all copyrights, source and provide where available, photos, external links, videos etc. to accompany written stories or provide same. 7. Post written stories with photos to: a.
