9:30am - 2:30pm Hello! Now that the weather is warmer, we look forward to getting back into a regular schedule! Please continue to share your thoughtful feedback with us, or come to the monthly Task Force meetings (first Tuesday at 12:00 noon). Thank you all for your help, attendance, and ideas! We look forward to many special celebrations, notably our first field trip and our National Night Out Block Party celebration. Stop by every Tuesday at noon for a hot delicious meal and every Wednesday for help with your knitting/crocheting! Also, we anticipate some major plumbing work in our bathroom and kitchen areas very soon (to deal with the foul odor and insect problem). It may impact our programming for a time; we will keep you informed as best as possible. We encourage you to listen to the PSC message (617-‐536-‐7154) or online at www.operationpeaceboston.org. (Note: sometimes last-‐minute changes occur beyond our control; we will do our best to keep everyone informed.) A reminder that during July and August, we do not see too much of Mallory as her focus turns toward the all-‐day youth Summer Academy. We will likely pass each other now and again and say hello, but if she seems a bit distracted, please know that she is not being rude, just that her focus must be on the children in her care. If you have requests please speak to David or Tracey. As always, consider this letter a personal invitation to all our events. We do our best to reach out to everyone, but sometimes we do fall short.
