Head of School Column:
I hope you and your children are enjoying a restful and pleasant
summer vacation from school. It is hard to imagine that our first
semester opens in less than a month.
All of the children are adjusting well to their new classes and their
new friends in our camp. Summer is a good time to enjoy our
recreational programs and become familiar with our campus and
staff. Please refer to the summer camp themes on our website so
you won’t miss out on any activities.
The students seem
enthusiastic and eager to learn new things. We hope to keep their
academic skills sharp and prepare them for the next grade.
Academic classes are in the morning, while arts and crafts,
swimming, and sports are in the afternoon. Please label all of your
child’s belongings and take them home everyday.
Enjoy your summer and store up those lasting memories. I am looking
forward to meeting you and continuing the strong community and
parent relations that have been established at Page.
Have an awesome summer and see you in August!

Junior Kindergarten
Summer is here and what a busy summer it's been here at Page Summer Camp. We would like to
personally welcome all the new and returning students to Page and say how excited we are to have you
join our Junior Kindergarten class. Summer camp has been full of fun and enriching activities for all the
students and we are having a great time getting to know our students before school starts in August.
Along with all the fun activities we have during summer camp we also take time to review academics in
a fun interactive way with our students to have them the best prepared for the new school year! We are
happy to have the opportunity to educate your children and look forward to a promising school year
Sincerely, Junior Kinder Teachers
Ms. Martha and Ms. Hannah
Preschool B
Welcome to Preschool B! Our Summer Camp at Page will be an awesome time of fun-filled activities,
swimming and curriculum review. On our "Fun Fridays," the entire Preschool program will come
together and celebrate to conclude each week.
Throughout the day, the children will engage in making play choices, practice their fine motor skills,
and letter, color, shape and number recognition.
Have a safe and joyous summer!
Ms. Tonia and Ms. Shiva
Summer Reading
We know how proud you must be of your accomplishments this year. And we know you want to keep
those skills sharp! Recent studies have shown than many children lose almost 50% of their reading
comprehension abilities over the summer break. There is an easy way to keep that from happening to
you. Read!
We are so lucky to have such fine community libraries. Many of them have summer reading programs
5
and clubs. So take advantage of your resources and have fun reading!
Summer Sports
Greeting parents,
We are officially in the summer season. As we all know, temperatures can get really high this time
around, so let's try to keep it cool. This month I have a lot of fun games planned out for the children.
We will be touching bases with multiple sports such as hockey, basketball, soccer, relay races and the
occasional water balloon fights. Considering the rise in temperature I will be enforcing constant water
breaks in order for them to remain hydrated. If temperatures reach too high for safety, I have planned
out a few indoor games that I feel will be really enjoyable for your child.
There are a few things I would highly recommend to help keep this summer camp successful.
1. Sunscreen-we will be spending some time in the sun
2. Water source (sports bottle, water bottle, etc.) - hydration will be continuous
3. Light clothing- let's try to stay cool this summer
4. Proper footwear- kids love to run around, so let's try to keep them safe.
And with that said I am happy to see some new happy faces and I look forward to helping make their
summer a FUN one.
Semper Fi,
Mr.G
Elementary
1st Grade - 6th Grade
It is easy to understand why summer camp is our students' favorite part of the year. They all love it! I
hope they enjoy it as much as I do! We will continue using the pool during the scheduled times everyday
of the week. Looks like this month is going to be really hot so it is perfect to hang out in the pool. I'm so
glad that your child is having a blast!
Mr. Hector
Physical Examinations
Sooner than you know it, we will be starting our academic year! All children entering Kindergarten and
First Grade must have a current physical examination. This is a very important requirement. Please make
6
sure all forms (which are available in the office) are returned prior to the start of school.
Preschool A1
Hello Parents,
We hope you are enjoying your summer thus far. For the month of July we will continue to focus on
summer fun and water play. We will continue to enjoy doing arts and crafts with the children, which will
encompass: animal masks, stars and stripes, face painting, puppets and so much more. Thank you for
your continued support during our Summer Program.
Yours Truly,
Ms. Jessica & Ms. Elizabeth
Kindergarten
Welcome Kindergarten students to summer camp! Our program will be filled with fun activities such as
art, swimming, sports, and academics. Please remember to bring your swimsuits, towels, water shoes,
sunscreen, and a plastic bag for wet items, and remember to label all your child's belongings. Your
child may wear their swimsuit underneath their regular attire. So get ready for a big splash into
summer!
Ms. Fernandez
Preschool A2
July is here and fireworks are sounding off! Our weekly themes for the month will be: "The mighty
jungle," "Moving and Grooving," and "Frozen." We are going to have an awesome summer camp as we
create fun arts & crafts activities based on the weekly themes. PS-A2 will also learn basic swimming
from 9:00am - 9:30am. Students will also review letters, shapes, colors and numbers. If there are any
questions feel free to contact Ms. Kay
Thank you in advance PS-A2!
Ms. Kay
Fire Safety
We wish you all a very happy Fourth of July! Please have a wonderful and safe holiday. What a perfect time to
practice fire safety with your family. Together, discuss your exit plans and where you will meet. Preparation
and planning can help us deal more efficiently with emergency situations.
We will be CLOSED on Friday, July 3rd in observance of Independence Day.
Summer Dress Code
Although the traditional school uniform is not required during the summer session, students are expected to
observe good taste in casual dress. Closed toe, rubber soled shoes (tennis shoes) are allowed. For safety
reasons, sandals are not permitted.
