Title: 1875: The Bartender
Since 1987, Tomi Parker has been crafting drinks at 1875: The
Steakhouse. As bar-chef and mixologist, Parker is known for her
bloody mary, ginger beer, ginger julep and award-winning 1875
Manhattan among other very tasty creations. Esquire Magazine
gave her 1875: The Manhattan top honors for the state of
Indiana in their Woodford Reserve Competition while she was
ranked in the top three nationwide. Parker’s familiarity with the
subtleties of the Woodford brand stem from her involvement in
selecting French Lick Resort’s custom-select, Woodford Reserve
Bourbon. She has even served as judge for the state of Indiana’s
Well Crafted Manhattan contest and leads the resort’s bourbon
tasting on Wednesday afternoons at 1875.
