News From Around The School
Media News:
Wow! What a great ending to a great year with our BOGO Free Book
Fair. We exceeded our goal of $10,000 in sales! We made over $11,000
in sales which enabled the PSE Media Center to purchase over $1,000
in new books. New books were added to all sections of the media center
and I am sure the students will enjoy them in the fall. Thank you for all
your support to the media center.
SPECIAL THANK YOU TO ALL THE GRANDPARENTS and PARENTS
who came out to help for this busy, busy fair. The students had a blast
getting many new books. SPECIAL THANK YOU TO THE PTO for your
support and help in making this a successful book fair.
REMINDER:
*ALL STUDENTS need to return all books and clear their student
accounts before the last day of school. Pay for lost books, return all
books, especially the 5th graders, going on to middle school. Your
middle school will not allow you to attend any field trips, dances or
extra curricular events until your media account is cleared at Park
Springs..
READ READ READ over the summer! See you in the FALL and DON'T
FORGET THE BOX TOPS!
Message from our Grade Levels:
Message from the 5th Grade Team:
We would like to take this opportunity to say
how proud we are of our students and how
much they have grown and matured this year.
They have learned so much, and have
developed so many strategies for their
future learning. It has been our pleasure to
have been part of their lives and their
learning for this past year. We appreciate all
of the support we have received from our
families. Wishing each and every student and
family a very happy, healthy, and fun
summer!
The Fifth Grade Team would like to wish our
students the best of luck as they move on to
middle school and beyond. We had a great year
and we hope that you enjoyed your time at Park
Springs Elementary. A special thank you goes
out to all of the parents and staff members
that helped us to provide a wonderful week of
Moving Up activities for our children. We
couldn't have done it without you. Have a
wonderful, relaxing summer!

Maybe your child has outgrown their school
uniform or maybe they are moving on to Middle
School. Whichever the case, we need your
donations. Donations should be stain- free and
only clothes that comply with the Park Springs
Elementary dress code.
Please consider donating your gently worn, clean,
used (or even new) uniforms to the school, so that
we can share it with another student who can
wear it again. PSE maintains a closet of donated
uniform items for any student who may be in need.
Please drop off your donations in the front office
over the summer.
Park Springs is honored to be the
recipient of the Golden School Award!

TenMarks
We’re delighted to inform you about a free program
offered by TenMarks Education that will provide your
child with access to a powerful, personalized summer
math program designed to help them reverse summer
learning loss.
Did you know that some students lose as much as two
months of grade level equivalence over the summer?
The TenMarks Program can help your child retain
what they have learned this year. An hour a week is all
it takes for your child to strengthen their math skills,
and prepare for the year ahead. Each assignment
contains embedded instruction to help your child
refresh concepts from the past year and prepare for
the ones ahead. Information on how to sign on to
TenMarks is included in the 4th Quarter Report Card.
Have a TERRIFIC summer vacation!
See you on August 24!
