The 2015 Diamond Donkey Gala will be held April 17, 2015 at
Meditations in Stillwater, OK. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., a cash bar
and silent auction begin at 6 p.m., and the program starts at 7 p.m.
Cyndi Munson is one of the organizers of 2020 Oklahoma, a PAC
that raises money for and contributes to Democratic women
candidates in Oklahoma.
This year, we are celebrating the strength of women in our state by
featuring four ladies who are making a real difference in Oklahoma:
Carter Sampson is a full-time small business woman and touring
musician, but one of her other passions is Rock and Roll Camp for
Girls, an organization dedicated to amplifying the voices of girls and
women to create social change.
Dr. Laura Belmonte, head of the OSU History Department, is a
founder and board member of Freedom Oklahoma, Oklahoma’s
statewide LGBT advocacy organization.
Cathy Cummings, a small business woman and restauranteur, ran
for Lt. Governor in 2014 and works for a variety of causes, including Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma.
Dinner includes two entrée choices and meals come with dessert, a
salad, roll, and drink. A cash bar not included will offer a full
complement of cocktails. Individual tickets are $50 each; preferred
tables are $1000 and feature upfront seating. A silent auction will
again be stocked with items great and small.
