May is always seriously busy with staff writing end of term reports

May is always seriously busy with staff writing end of term reports, Kilbowie
and High School visits.
May began with our mascot Penny and our Stuart celebrating their birthdays.
Penny is helping the new pupils learn about the CRC (Convention of the Rights of
the child) by being photographed around the school enjoying his rights. The P7’s
made a picture book and have been reading it to the younger guys.
Welcome to Daniel, Callum and Logan who are joining our family.
The boys have been teaching each other R.E. moral stories and giving each class
constructive criticism. This is an important life skill, I’m sure you’ll agree.
If you look at our website, you’ll see our Journey to Excellence clip where the
pupils were working together in technology. Mrs Bryce and Mrs McIntosh add
to it regularly so there’s always something new to see.
Thank you to all the parents and carers who have returned certificates for our
Wow Wall. Remember we love to , coast steer, tree climb, rock climb and
impress at the disco! We all have new Kilbowie nicknames but they are best
kept secret! There are loads of photos on the website.
Monday is International Children’s Day and pupil council have suggested
activities for us to celebrate being young while remembering all those children
around the world who don’t get the rights they are entitled to.
Yours
Carla
