ACC ‘FINAL’ CROSS COUNTRY SQUAD INFORMATION
This week sees the culmination of the Cross Country season with the ACC Carnival being held at Perry
Lakes and Alderbury Reserve on Tomorrow. Our squad has have been selected on the basis of at
training ,attitude, improvement and performances at the SSWA Carnival and Inter-House Carnivals. We
aim to be highly competitive across all age groups and are aiming to maintain our position amongst the Top 3 Schools and
perhaps contend for the Victory!!!
It has been pleasing to see the regular and committed approach to training by our Junior student athletes along with our Senior
student athletes accommodate the logistical difficulties of examinations and excursions clashes when selecting the best possible
Squad for the ACC Carnival.
I would like to thank Mrs. Pedley, Mrs. Harriman, Mrs. Howell and Mrs. Campbell who have assisted at Squad training every week
serving breakfast to the Squad to allow staff to focus their attentions upon the students. My thanks also go to Mrs. Steinbach and
Mr. McCorkindale who will assist as parental volunteers on the day. Paul Heywood who is the Head Coach of Joondalup Track
Club also trains a number of our students who attained State selection. If you have any interest in joining the Club, please contact
me.
