FIGHTER INFO….

Phil Ashby After watching the previous Tower Fitness boxing event in March, I was really keen
to enter the show. My #FightForSeb is dedicated to my good friends Barbara & Ian’s brave little
boy Seb Whatton who at 3 had been diagnosed with Leukaemia. God bless you Seb. http://
uk.virginmoneygiving.com/FightForSeb
Fiona Manders I’m doing this because I love challenges, wanted to mix things up at home and
of course for world peace. I’m hoping to move onto extreme cage fighting, or maybe some
cake baking but I’m undecided. Also, if things go well I want to take a shot at the crown! I’m
confident I could knock the Queen out in two rounds.
Andrew Baker 45 years young and boxing is all part of my mid-life crisis I will be starting work
on my allotment in the morning. The training and sparing sessions have been the toughest
thing I have ever done. Jacko and his coaches have been brilliant we all hope to put on a great
show for you. Enjoy your evening, thank you for your support.
Ryan Haynes I signed up to this because I have always wondered if I’d be any good. Now we’ll
know! I think I might come second possibly third after the ref! Or is there a raffle?? I might win
that! (Jackson: There is no raffle)
Mark Bradnum is raising money and awareness of Surfers for Cetaceans www.s4cglobal.org.
Tonight you will see 24 people let their animal sides comes out to entertain the masses. Of course
I want to win but everyone’s a winner just for getting up there!! I’m knackered and old so we’ll see.
Darren Marsh 47 Over the last few years I’ve spent too much time down the pub and let myself
get badly out of shape, my aim was to lose three stone in weight, drink far less and win tonight.
I’ve lost the weight, not had a drop of the good stuff for 3 months and tonight we’ll see if I can
make it three out of three.
Robin Budd I’m doing this because I was really ill with brain damage a couple of years ago,
and I enjoyed hospital food so much I’d like to go back. Also, I think being punched in the face
repeatedly is a good way to get in shape. I am rubbish at all sports and before I started this I
ate far too much.
Victoria Pemberton 27 I’m not the most confident person but stepping out in front of 100s of
people, walking to the ring with my friends and family cheering me on is going to give me a
massive boost. When I signed up I really didn’t know what I was in for however I feel like I am
actually getting good at it and I can’t wait for tonight.
Magic Matty Coulton a member of the #3Degrees. I was getting fit with Jackson for a while
and wasn’t really interested in the boxing but after being thrown in at the deep end by Jackson
I realised I enjoyed it so much so signed up. I’m hoping to continue and go into amateur
boxing. Tonight I’d like to dedicate the night to my Dad, John Coulton, who died in 2010 as it’s
his birthday 27th June.
Neil Pickford An average guy who lives for his wife and kids. At only 31 I do feel a bit over the
hill from a fitness point of view, when I was younger I was very fit going to the gym everyday
but that changed after 3 kids. This process has really helped me.
David Fryer 29 I’ve always wanted to be involved in Boxing. After coming to the last event and
being persuaded by some friends, I decided I would try it out. I really hope I’ll win and after
giving up smoking and drinking I expect good things!
Luke Falder 26 I consider myself fairly athletic and fit, which makes up for deficiencies in the
looks department! White Collar Boxing will compliment my glittering sports career (consisting
of sitting on the sides watching mates play Sunday Football!). I’m looking forward to the
atmosphere and sharing this unique experience with friends and family.
Brad Garrett 23 I am in the best shape I have ever been in so thank you Jacko! I believe the
first round will go very quickly & technique will go out the window with lots of wild throws, 2nd
round will be much more controlled & better to watch. I’m more concerned about giving a
good performance for everyone who has paid to see the show.
Karlton Gray (#3Degrees) I was asked if I think I’m going to win, I know I’m supposed to say
yes but I’d go 51/49 in my favour. Finally thank you to my gorgeous Fiancé and mum to be Kate
Saunders for putting up with training for last 3 months.
Stuart Gollands 34 Regional manager for an East Anglian care provider. He signed up to get
fitter and help raise some money for charity in the process, he’s lost over 3 stone during the
process and is planning on keeping up the training after the event.
Michael Johnstone Decided on boxing tonight to improve his fitness, take on a challenge and
to avert a mid-life crisis. If he can still walk and talk afterwards he will take early retirement and
live out the rest of his life in his Mansion! It would be a massive result for him to win but just not
getting humiliated would be acceptable.
Michael Harnden 19 I’m doing this as it’s something I wish I’d done years ago. I have a
medium-high level of fitness and I’m going for a knockout. After tonight bring on the alcohol
and a huge juicy victory burger.
Jon Mooney Fancied a new and exciting challenge, something that he focus on. He’s really
looking forward to the after party, he thinks on the night all of the training will go out of the
window and is very confident in giving the Mooney name a win.
Rachel Tate Own and runs The Yard Florist just outside Wymondham, she lives in the
countryside with her partner and four dogs, she enjoys gardening, cooking and fitness. She was
looking for a new physical challenge so I decided on Boxing! She’s found it be more of a mental
challenge than anything but I am so so looking forward to tonight.
Dave McCormack Always one to rise to a challenge. Police Sergent for 9 years and passionate
about helping local communities. From Sunderland originally now lives with wife and three
children in Dereham and looking forward to putting on a great show this evening.
Adam Thomas Born and raised on the beaches of west Cornwall, reared on a diet of pasties and
West Country cider. Speedy is no stranger tests of physical endeavour with 15 years of distance
running behind him. Fitness isn’t going to be a problem, question is can the other guy keep up?
Matt ‘Loser’ Parkhouse is a lightweight boxer who models himself on Ricky Hatton, between
fights. He’s will be watched by a group of friends who just want to see him getting punched
in the face repeatedly. He’s being paid to take a dive after 20 seconds, when he’s knocked out
early, it’s definitely for that reason and has nothing to do with the fact he’s awful at boxing and
overweight.
Gemma Ralph I’ve always been into sports and fitness from a young age with various sports
and my most recent success of running the London Marathon. I’ve looked for the next thing to
test my capabilities, decided getting smacked in the face was the answer! Training with Jackson
is great and would recommend this fantastic unique experience.
Tom Whitmore I’m 23 I’m doing this because I’ve always enjoyed watching boxing and saw this
as a good chance to have a go. If I do well and enjoy the fight, I hope to carry on boxing.
