INTERNATIONAL SWIMMING MEET “PRIMORJE 2015 – St. Vid”

Dear swimming friends,
it is our great pleasure to invite you to our 28th edition
of the international swimming meet for the youngest
swimmers «PRIMORJE 2015 - St Vid» which will be
held at the Kantrida Swimming Complex in Rijeka
(Croatia) on Sunday, June 14th, 2015.
Below you will find the rules of the swimming meet
and we kindly ask you to let us know if you intend to
participate by June 1st, 2015.

3. COMPETITION CATEGORIES (AGE GROUPS):
A group: M born 2003, F born 2003
B group: M born 2004 & younger, F born
2004 & younger
4. RULES
The competition will be run following FINA rules,
Croatian Swimming Federation rules and these
rules.
The competition will be held in two sessions –
morning and afternoon. The club team has the
right to enter as many competitors as they wish
for every competition event, there is no limit on
the number of competitors per event.
In a 8 x 50 medley relay (4 male/4 female) both
categories (A, B) are allowed to participate.
4x50 freestyle relay is composed with 2 competitors (one female and one male) and two
adults (either coach or a parent). The event will
be held at the end of the meet. Clubs can register one or more relays. There will be a maximum of ten (10) relays in this event.
All of the clubs are obligated to confirm that
team members have no medical issues to compete in this meet.
5. ENTRY FEE
The fee is 5 euro per start payable at the office
of the organizer at the latest one hour before
the competition start.

7. DELEGATES MEETING
Sunday 9:30 am at the competition desk.
8. SCORING (POINTS)
Top 16 in each individual event and top
8 the relay event will be scored by FINA
points (separate for A&B categories).
For team scores, points will be added
for two (2) best individual placements
in each individual event and relay.
9. LIMITS
In order to regulate the timing of swim meet we
have set the following time limits:
1. One minute (60 sec) for all 50 meter events,
2. Two minutes (120 sec) for all 100 meter
events,
3. Four minutes (240 sec) for 200 IM event
Penalty (7 euro) will be charged to a team
whose athlete does not make the limit
10. AWARDS
Top 3 in each individual event will receive medals. Top 3 most successful (M & F) by number of
points in four events will be awarded with special
awards (both A, B categories). Top 3 club teams
will receive plate.
Winners of 4x50 free relay (2 competitors M/F +
2 parents or coaches) will be awarded with complimentary awards.
