If it has been awhile since you've logged on to our parish website (www.pocoparishes.org), please take a look. Some changes include the direct link to Bishop Daly's Installation Mass and the addition of the latest Parish Advisory Council minutes for St. Anthony's as well as our Know, Love, and Serve (KLS) Pastoral Plan. Soon the KLS Pastoral Plans should be posted for St. Jude and St. Bernard/St. Joseph Parishes. We were blessed at St. Anthony's this year to have six qualified candidates who applied for a seat on the Parish Advisory Council. There are only two seats open and they are to replace Joe Burrell and Bob Graham, whose terms end on June 30. I'm happy to announce that the two new members are Jim Hines and Sue Cowan. Their three-year term begins on July 1, 2015. Please keep in mind that the Parish Advisory Council meetings are always open to parishioners. Our next scheduled meeting is Tuesday, June 23rd, from 3:30-5:30 pm. A few weeks ago we listened to the conclusion of St. Mark's Gospel at Mass. This weekend we hear the conclusion of St. Matthew's Gospel proclaimed. Jesus leaves us with some of the most consoling words He ever spoke. May these words remain with us now and forever: "And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age." God's continued blessing be with you. Fr. Trinity Sunday Today’s second reading reminds us that we are the adopted sons and daughters---the heirs---of God. We are good stewards of our inheritance when we share our faith and fulfill Our Lord’s command to “go---and make disciples of all the nations.”
