Living the Paschal Mystery
In the context of this Sunday’s readings
and gospel, we pray in the psalm for the
transformation that comes through the
forgiveness of sins. We pray knowing
that God shines the divine Face of
forgiveness upon us in the body of the
risen Jesus. How might we turn to that
Face? How might our faces shine in
response?

Sacraments
Baptisms. Baptisms are normally celebrated during Masses on the fourth Sunday of the
month.

Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation. Children not attending the parish
schools are offered after-school classes to prepare for the sacraments.

Marriage. Please contact the parish at least six months prior to marriage. After an initial
interview engaged couples are asked to undertake a marriage preparation course before
their wedding.

RCIA. The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is offered for those who are enquiring
about Catholic faith.

Rosary is prayed after weekday Mass. Exposition after morning Mass every Friday at St
Bede, and before Mass at St Anne on the first Friday of the month.

currently recruiting volunteers to
support Refugee Students and
Asylum Seekers in the Melbourne
Archdiocese.
The
volunteer
commitment is approximately half a
day per week for four school terms.
Experience working in an educational
setting is preferred but not essential.

ASYLUM SEEKER RESOURCE CENTRE COLLECTION
The hospitality weekend collection of money for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre
will take place this weekend. This year hope to be able to help the Foodbank to
purchase a van for collecting and delivering foods/groceries.
