Zydus Hospira Oncology Private Limited (ZHOPL) is a joint venture company in Ahmedabad,
India jointly owned by Cadila Health Care Limited, a company incorporated under the Indian
Companies Act, 1956 and Hospira, Inc., a company incorporated under the laws of the
State of Delaware, USA. ZHOPL manufactures oncology drug products that is
marketed, sold and used throughout the world. ZHOPL was set up in 2005 as a JV
between Cadila Health Care (Zydus Cadila) and Mayne Pharma Ltd, Australia (Mayne
Pharma was acquired by Hospira Inc.,USA in February 2007 hence this company is
since known as Zydus Hospira).

of pharmaceutical drug products and has the ability to establish and operate
pharmaceutical projects of world-class standards and secure regulatory approvals from

To attend and Maintain electrical systems

Technician-Engineering (Electrical)
Technician –Engineering (Electrical) shall be responsible for attending and Maintaining
electrical systems at ZHOPL.
Pre-requisite:

Essential Qualification: ITI Electrician

Total Number of years of experience: 1 - 3 years and above, working in
engineering department at manufacturing sites supplying to US, Europe markets.

Must have a sound knowledge of cGMP requirements from engineering
perspective.

Preferred Age Group: Between 20 – 25 years
Key Responsibilities:

.
To Operate and maintain :
 Gang Operating Damper
 Hi Tension (HT) Panel
 Transformer
 Load Tension Power Control (LTPC)
 Diesel Generator Set

To provide uninterrupted power supply to the site.

To Repair / maintain transformer and distribution panel.

To check and ensure proper earthling to all electrically run machines /
equipment’s.

To perform preventive maintenance as per the schedule.

To update the records as per the GDP standards.

To follow the safety rules.

To preserve and ensure the availability of critical spares related to Electrical
section.

Time to time verification of High Speed Diesel and additives.

Filtration and replacement of transformer oil as and when required.

To ensure efficient use of Diesel Generating set.

To support other section of engineering department, including projects.

To train/update the people as and when required.

Experience

Should have understanding of electrical systems of
Parenteral Plant ..

Should be able to solve problem related to the
equipment of technical sections of ZHOPL .

Hands-on
experience
as
electrician
in
manufacturing Plant.(Preferably Parenteral Plant)

Strongly
demonstrated
success
in
capacity
enhancement initiatives in solving issues as
electrician in engineering activity.
a
 Bring a sense of urgency to situations, demonstrate an
active approach, be willing to get involved in order to
increase the pace and achieve goals and objectives.
