Zydus Hospira Oncology Private Limited (ZHOPL) is a joint venture company in Ahmedabad,
India jointly owned by Cadila Health Care Limited, a company incorporated under the Indian
Companies Act, 1956 and Hospira, Inc., a company incorporated under the laws of the
State of Delaware, USA. ZHOPL manufactures oncology drug products that is
marketed, sold and used throughout the world. ZHOPL was set up in 2005 as a JV
between Cadila Health Care (Zydus Cadila) and Mayne Pharma Ltd, Australia (Mayne
Pharma was acquired by Hospira Inc.,USA in February 2007 hence this company is
since known as Zydus Hospira).
Cadila Healthcare has the expertise in handling a wide variety of finished dosage forms
of pharmaceutical drug products and has the ability to establish and operate
pharmaceutical projects of world-class standards and secure regulatory approvals from

Job Summary
To effectively executive and manage HPLC analysis and
completion of activity related to Quality Control –analysis
and review activities in ZHOPL ensure compliance

Officer –Quality Control-Chemistry(HPLC)
Officer-Quality Control Chemistry (HPLC) shall be responsible for effective execution
and management HPLC analysis and completion of activity related to Quality Control –
analysis and review activities in ZHOPL ensure compliance
Pre-requisite:

Essential Qualification: B.Sc/Msc,- Inorganic Chemistry, B Pharm

Total Number of years of experience: 2-5 years and above with atleast 2 year at
operating HPLC independently .

Must have a sound knowledge of cGMP requirements form the Quality
Assurance and Regulatory perspective.

Preferred Age Group: Between 21– 30 years
Key Responsibilities:













Perform analysis of Raw Material / Finished product using HPLC.
Should have knowledge of instrument like HPLC, UV, GC.
Should have sound knowledge of Calibration / Operation and troubleshooting
laboratory instruments like HPLC, UV, GC.
To follow the Good Laboratory Practices in the laboratory.
To ensure the integrity of the laboratory data.
To record all the data related to the testing online and day to day basis and
ensuring the traceability of it.
To intimate Manager Quality Assurance / Manager Quality Control for any
abnormality/ failure during the testing. However in absence of them intimating the
status of the same to Head Quality.
Trending of analytical data.
Preparation and standardization of volumetric solutions and reagents.
To prepare the specifications, test methods, SOP’s, Protocols and LIMS masters
as per the requirements.
To carry out the testing of working standards.
To carry out the method transfer / method verification testing and top document
them according to the approved procedures.
To assist the service engineer during the preventive maintenance of the
laboratory instrument.

Hands-on expertise of handling HPLC independently,
and trouble shooting for the same

Should have worked Quality Control-Analytical
laboratory in regulated plants having approvals of US
FDA, MHRA. etc.

Hands-on experience in successfully handling and
implementing cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing
Practice).

Working closely with Quality & Regulatory functions to
create a highly compliant environment.
