The Queensland Government, in collaboration with the Australian Institute for Commercialisation (AIC)
invites you and colleagues to an Innovation Clinic with the Community Housing Sector on Tuesday 2nd June.
This initiative is part of the Industry Development and Engagement Project being delivered by the
Department of Housing and Public Works. An ‘innovation clinic’ brings together industry stakeholders,
relevant experts and researchers to work through an industry identified issue or opportunity. The clinic will
assist industry participants to ‘unpack’ and gain a greater understanding of the highlighted issue, identifying
opportunities and implementing innovative solutions. At the end of the session, the group will come away
with an agreed set of actions to support further collective exploration and action.
The clinic presents an opportunity for industry stakeholders from across Queensland to explore
opportunities and innovative ideas to increase the supply of social and affordable housing that will support
the long term sustainability of the community housing sector in Queensland.

About the Facilitator:
Rob Geddes is the Senior Consultant - Innovation at the AIC. Rob has a background in developing new
technologies, products and services for targeted markets specialising in small business. He facilitates
Innovation Clinics across all sectors of the economy.
