Welcome to the Rouse Hill Rams 2015 Season - Under 6 Mixed
Welcome coaches and managers and a huge thank you for volunteering your me . Rams Soccer are looking to have their biggest year ever in 2015 and we welcome you to be a part of it.
We have prepared this season fixture and invite you to contact your age coordinator if you have any quesons.

Who are the Rouse Hill Rams and what do you offer for Under 6’s ?
Rams Soccer was established in 2006 and is part of the Rouse Hill Rams Sports Club, Based at Hills Centenary Park, Commercial Road Rouse Hill, the facility consists of (3) full size playing
fields and (8) small sided pitches, modern amenies, canteen and parking. The facility is considered one of the best in the district and with new drainage installed by Hills Shire Council the
playing surface will be greatly improved in 2015 with reduced risk of washed out matches and missed training opportunies.
Rams Soccer coordinates Small Sided Football for age groups U6 to U11. Small Sided Football was introduced in 2007 by Football Federaon Australia and is a modified form of
11-a-side football, designed to meet the needs of players between the U6 to U11 age groups. The philosophy of Small Sided Football focuses on enjoyment, par,cipa,on, freedom of
expression and development. The games are played on smaller fields, with simplified rules which result in more playing me, more touches of the ball and more shots at goal. Small
Sided Football is non compe,,ve and the emphasis is not on winning or losing, it is about par,cipa,on and enjoyment. No scores or tables are permi6ed to be maintained or
published under FFA rules.

When does the season commence ?
The season commences on Saturday 11th April 2015 consisng of 18 rounds. Games scheduled for Anzac Day Saturday 25th April have been moved to Sunday 26th April. Saturday 4th July
2015 is considered ‘spare’ for any catch-up rounds lost due to washouts in previous rounds.
When can we commence training ?
Rams Soccer receive access to Hills Centenary Park on Monday 23rd March 2015. Lights will be switched on from this date as required. Lights work on SMS and will be pre-programmed
each day. Please refer to the ‘Training Field Allocaon’ for further details.
What about training shirts ?
Each player in U6’s will be issued a Rams training shirt as part of their 2015 registraon. The training top is to be worn at training and to games each Saturday.
What about volunteers for field setup, canteen and BBQ ?
Throughout the season, teams will be required to supply volunteers for set up, canteen and BBQ duty. It is COMPULSORY for your team to help out for nominated dues—refer to the
Parent Helper Form below and season fixture for details. Please forward the form by email to your age coordinator 1 week before your scheduled duty date. Please support our club and
help out on your allocated week, all commi6ee members are volunteers and we need your assistance to make sure game day runs smoothly.
What about ongoing communica#on ?
The Rams Soccer website ramssoccer.com.au is the main form of communicaon. Informaon can also be found on our Facebook page facebook.com/rousehillramssoccer. In the event
of wet weather the website and Facebook page will be updated as soon as a decision is made by council or the club to close the grounds. Please check the website and Facebook page
on Friday night and into Saturday morning as required for ground status updates as decision can be made to close grounds as late as 7.30am on Saturday morning. Please do not
assume your game is cancelled unl you have received noficaon from your age coordinator. Please check the website regularly for updates.
At mes, your age coordinator will contact you directly with more targeted informaon. You should also contact your age coordinator with quesons or comments.
