RENFREW COUNTY CATHOLIC DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD boardBOARD SUMMER STUDENT EMPLOYMENT LOCATION: Business Student: Human Resources & Finance Services Administration Office, 499 Pembroke St. West TYPE OF POSITION: Summer Employment 2015 – Temporary DATE REQUIRED: Immediately – August 28, 2015 HOURS: 32.5 – 35.0 hours per week SALARY RANGE: under review JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Superintendent of Business and the Finance Officer, the summer student will provide general finance and accounting assistance in the Business and Finance Office, as well as provide general administrative assistance in the Human Resources department when required. The summer student will also be responsible for relieving other Board staff as required i.e., switchboard coverage, etc. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. College or university student currently enrolled in a Business, Finance, or Accounting program; 2. Demonstrated proficiency with computer applications, preferably MS Excel, MS Word, Internet, Charts, Graphs and PowerPoint; 3. Excellent mathematical, analytical, problem-solving and research skills; 4. Excellent written and oral communication skills; 5. A team player with a composed, discreet and professional manner; excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to perform multi-tasks under pressure and meet deadlines with a minimum amount of supervision; 6. Present a positive and professional image of the organization to all visitors, suppliers, inquiries, and other interactions. 7. Ability to provide regular attendance; 8. Previous office work experience.
