he tension is electric when fashion and music come face to face like love at ﬁrst sight. The mutual inﬂuence of both worlds
is very present in many styles and eras. Rock music, with its rawedged arrangements and powerful melodies, is no exception.
Both the sound and the style of rock’s heroes and muses have had a strong
impact on the Laurèl Fall/Winter 2014 Collection. We turn the spotlight
onto the look of style icons like Kate Moss, Lou Doillon, Sienna Miller,
Georgia May Jagger, Nico or Debbie Harry.
Worldwide hotspot districts like Soho, Chelsea, Marais or Shibuya are
their playground, home and inspiration . They favor fashion that makes
a statement about their personality, celebrating their uniqueness as
ideals of beauty. It’s the casual and natural feel of this style that creates its
brimming conﬁdence.
Very much like The Laurèl Woman. The way she comes across, her
casual, easy-going style are an inspiration. Cosmopolitan and
contemporary yet radiantly feminine, she loves her urban lifestyle and
its spur-of-the-moment excitement. Head of Design Elisabeth
