About Retail REvolution
Retail REvolution is a two day business conference themed on topics that are current in retail and cover
the forthcoming two to three year plan of where the £350billion industry will be by the end of that
period.
The conference is targeted to all retail orientated professionals, from Town Centre managers to
Shopping Centre Managers, Retail Managers to Regional Directors and Surveyors. The event is split into
two days, with the first being speaker and discussion led with sessions from leading organisations and
individuals bringing into the room their thoughts, ideas and industry inside knowledge on how retail is
transforming.
With regular breaks, lunch and the evening event there will be plenty of opportunity to engage and
network with delegates throughout the first day, with sponsors invited to chair some of the breakout
groups on day two which will again offer opportunities for sponsors to both present and take part in a
more relaxed structure to the second day.

Venue – The Town Hall, Rochdale.
Rochdale Town Hall is a Victorian-era municipal building in Rochdale, Greater Manchester,
England. It is "widely recognised as being one of the finest municipal buildings in the country", and is
rated by English Heritage as a Grade I listed building. The Town Hall functions as the ceremonial
headquarters of Rochdale Metropolitan Borough Council and houses local government departments,
including the borough's civil registration office.
Built in the Gothic Revival style at a cost of £160,000 (£13 million as of 2014), it was inaugurated for
the governance of the Municipal Borough of Rochdale on 27 September 1871. The architect, William
Henry Crossland, was the winner of a competition held in 1864 to design a new Town Hall. It had a
240-foot (73 m) clock tower topped by a wooden spire with a gilded statue of Saint George and the
Dragon, both of which were destroyed by fire on 10 April 1883, leaving the building without a spire
for four years. A new 190-foot (58 m) stone clock tower and spire in the style of Manchester Town
Hall was designed by Alfred Waterhouse, and erected in 1888.
Art critic Nikolaus Pevsner described the building as possessing a "rare picturesque beauty".
Its stained glass windows are credited as "the finest modern examples of their kind". The building
came to the attention of Adolf Hitler, who was said to have admired it so much that he wished to ship
the building, brick-by-brick, to Nazi Germany had the United Kingdom been defeated in the Second
World War.
The venue is easily reachable by car, train and metrolink with quality hotels situated both next door
and within a mile of the building. The conference will be held in the Great Hall, and once inside you
will quickly understand how this beautiful room got it’s name.
From a sponsor’s point of view, the room will offer opportunities to display within as well as areas
throughout the building for refreshments, lunch and breakout sessions where further opportunities
will be allowed and encouraged.
The theme of the event will focus on trends and expected paths, but also sessions on analysis of
what the retail sector has been through to get where we are today.

The conference is being targeted to shopping centre and town centre managers across the country,
council officers with relevant influence in redevelopments and operations in towns and boroughs, as
well as leading retailers who may be represented in Rochdale currently, but a large number will not
have a presence in the town.
This will give our sponsors direct access to the decision makers in the industry for onsite service
providers, as well as the opportunity to showcase the town to those not currently represented within
it.
Attendees will be provided with a delegate pack, ahead of the event, containing a list of all those
who are attending the event.

Fancy joining us on the stage?
Perhaps you’d like to get your brand and services out to the audience by delivering a brief overview
of your company or experiences you have been involved in. There are a limited few opportunities to
be able to that from the stage on the first day, with also the change to host some of the network
sessions on day two. Below is a price list for such requirements, with discounts offered for bulk
sponsorship opportunities taken up.
At the end of the Sponsors’ speaking session there will be a question and answers session held to
the room which will give you a further opportunity to add a personality to your brand.
There are four ten minute speaking sessions available on day one, and they also include attendance
for two sponsors for the entire event:
10 minute slot is £750+ VAT
20 minute slot is £1000+ VAT
As well as gaining the attention of the audience from the stage, all speakers will be profiled on the
weeks running up to the event and featured in the program of the event.

Pop-Up Partners
There are limited opportunities for businesses to be presented throughout the Great Hall, and in the
Town Hall reception and breakout rooms.
Power will be provided, all you need to do is bring the product, the materials and those all important
conference giveaways… Will you bring more than a tin of mints!
It is important to note that sponsorship opportunities are limited, and the event will not be flooded
with an endless array of stands and pop-up banners so please act quickly if you intend on taking a
place.
All tables will be 2 metres long and provided by ourselves with a table cloth – you can adapt the look
and feel of your area but must stay within the 3 metre by 2 metre boundary. Listed below are the
costings for pop-up exhibition displays, again these include tickets for two people to attend the
conference for both days:
3m x 2m display space inc. table & space for two conventional pop-up banners - £1500 + VAT
1m x 1m display space inside the Great Hall - £750 + VAT
Pop-Up Banner space in allocated areas within the building - £500 + VAT

And now for something a little different…
We’ve all said it, when we go to a conference and look at the poor company who have rocked up
with boxes of mints and those screen bugs that you NEVER see stuck to people’s computers when
you go and visit them, so here’s your chance to add a little bit of difference to the event. These costs
include two sponsors tickets for both days, and the opportunity to display literature/electronic media.
Branded vehicles outside the Town Hall for people’s arrival over both days of the event, excluding
the evening event - Cost £2000 + VAT
Gift Bag Sponsorship with a stand for you to hand these out and chat to guests on arrival – Cost of
the bags + £750 + VAT
Registration Sponsorship – you wil be able to have your logo and company name printed on
these, and the welcome desk will be set up with your pop-up banner and literature exclusively, along
with the conference’s own material – Cost of lanyards + £1000 + VAT
Lunch Sponsorship – when breaking for lunch your company will be accredited with the
sponsorship of this & your banners will be displayed as people queue for their food – Cost £1750 +
VAT
Coffee Breaks Fuelled by YOU – on the regular coffee breaks across both days, your literature and
promotional gifts exclusively will be available at the pods - Cost £1750 + VAT
Evening Event Sponsorship – Our event will have the opportunity for you to brand sections of it
including a pop-up stand on arrival with you able to give out gift bags and have video imagery
throughout the evening, along with other sponsors who have contributed throughout the event,
although yours will be on screen for 50% of the time sponsors are shown - £3000 + VAT
