It highlights the superior work that is created in our area schools. This year’s show will feature up to 12 students from Blue Earth, Fairmont, GHEC, Martin Luther, North Union and Truman. The show will conclude with a closing reception on Friday, April 17 at 11pm. Gallery hours are Monday and Friday ∙ 10am-3pm, and Thursday ∙ 10am-6pm. Evenings and weekends by appointment. Tuesday, April 14 ∙ Noon Lunch with the Arts program featuring Marilyn & Ken Rusch grand daughter, Chelsea Hanson. Chelsea is a Jr at MSU working towards a music degree in piano performance. She began playing the piano at the age of 6, and with great promise she began teaching others at the age of 17. Chelsea also writes and composes her own pieces. The program will feature a variety of classical and easy listening pieces. Bring a sack lunch if desired, coffee provided. Two performances: April 17th or 18th ∙ 4th Annual Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre & Silent Auction fundraiser Experience a unique, one of a kind, 1956 Murder Mystery dinner theatre starring the area’s finest actors: Michael Brennemann, Bart Clayton, Loren Dunham, Barbara Jordi, Georgie Pfaffinger, Deanna Shaikoski, Emilee Shaikoski, Linda Smith, and Pete Steinke. Includes a 3 course bacon wrapped beef tenderloin meal. Wine and beer available. Social hour begins at 5:30. The choirs are under the direction of Sherry Truman, Grace Lutheran Church in Fairmont. Open to the public. A free will donation will be taken. Students will engage in a fun art project, learn new skills and techniques, and socialize with other creative kids. Each child will leave with their own original masterpiece, created from scratch. Watercolorist, Avis Davis will take you thru the process in a fun and relaxing environment. At the end of the night you will have your own masterpiece to take home. FEE: $25 Bring your own bottle of wine or favorite beverage and watercolor paints. Paper, brushes, wine glasses & opener will be provided.
