MEMORIAL POPPY
American Legion Auxiliary members of the Gosz/Novak Unit 199
of Reedsville understand the sacrifice our Armed Forces have
made to preserve freedom and to honor past and current service
members. Members of the Gosz/Novak Unit #199 will be wearing
a red Memorial Poppy, as a symbol of price of war and the sacrifice of millions, as a sign of their appreciation this Memorial Day
weekend. The 900,000 members of the American Legion Auxiliary,
the world’s largest women’s patriotic service organization, are
asking everyone to wear a Poppy on Memorial Day weekend.
For
“Wear it in honor of the millions of Americans who have willingly
served our nation, all too many of whom made the ultimate sacrifice,” said Jane Kalies, Auxiliary President, of the Gosz/Novak

Unit #199 Reedsville. The Poppy also honors Wisconsin’s disabled
veterans at the Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee who
make the red crepe paper Poppy. Wisconsin’s Red Poppies provide
financial and therapeutic benefits to these veterans, as well as
the thousands of veterans and their families who benefit from the
donations collected from the distribution of the Auxiliary Poppy.

Announcing Jill Keil, MPT, is now at Orthopedic & Spine Therapy of Brillion!
Jill is no stranger to OST. She worked at OST Brillion previously in college as a Patient Care
Coordinator (PCC), then after graduating with her physical therapy degree in 2003, as a
physical therapist. She continued working in the field for the past five years, but is happy to
be back at OST Brillion. “OST is a very welcoming place to work. They are committed to and
supportive of continuing education. I prefer to work in a private practice setting with a smaller company feel. I enjoy being a physical therapist because I believe my gentle nature
makes people feel at ease. I am also a good listener and most importantly, I provide hope.
There is always something physical therapy can improve, whether its flexibility, strength, or balance despite a chronic or degenerative condition.” Jill lives

IN.FORM PROGRAM
IN.FORM is a customized supplement program to meet your individual needs and promote
good health.
Questions & answers with Dr.Pacheco:
Q. Is there an unhealthy way to lose weight?
a. Extreme and fad diets can have unhealthy consequences and I do not recommend them
due to their potential for electrolyte and metabolic imbalances. They can also be psychologically negative due to the yo-yo effect that many of these extreme diets' result in. A slow,
steady, healthy program with plenty of support is the approach that I favor.
Q. Are there supplements that can support my efforts to lose weight?
A. Some of my favorite supplements and products I recommend are Nature's Sunshine's high
quality protein drink mixes. Aside from the rigorous quality control that all Natures' Sunshine
products are subjected to, what I also really like about them is the variety. From Love and
Peas to Nature's Harvest to Nutri-Burn, the different formulations address the specific needs
and requirements of a wide variety of clients. They offer gluten-free, dairy-free, higher protein
content and even lactose-free options. I also recommend Ultra Therm. Its thermogenic formula
helps you burn more calories and break down fat, and it works great with the IN.FORM
program.
Dr. Pacheco is an Emmy award-winning family physician and is Board Certified in Family
Medicine. He is a member of Nature's Sunshine's Worldwide Medical and Scientific Advisory
Board. May special at Roadway To Health - 25% off the retail price of any in stock product.

bright, bold colors/plants that will flower all summer long. If you need

Act FAST in case of stroke
Stroke is the fourth leading
cause of death and a leading
cause of disability in this country. Someone in the U.S. has a
stroke about once every 40
seconds, killing nearly 129,000
people annually. To reduce the
chance of stroke, all adults
should be screened for the primary risk factors — high blood
pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes and smoking. If you
smoke, please take the steps
needed to quit. There are different types of strokes. Strokes due
to lack of blood to the brain are
the most common. Blood vessels are narrowed or blocked by
fatty plaque or by clots that
form and block blood flow to
the brain. This kind of stroke is
called a “brain attack” because
it is like a heart attack when
blood and oxygen does not get
to the muscle or brain tissue.
