Dining Only Agreement (Summer) - Residence Life

Bloomsburg University Off-Campus Only Dining Agreement
Summer 2015
Off-Campus Dining Agreement
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Revised: March 2015
I. FOOD SERVICE ELIGIBILITY
All Bloomsburg University students are eligible to have a dining plan. All residence hall students are
required to purchase a meal plan, either Plan A (19 meals per week) or Plan C (10 meals per week).
Students living in apartments or residing off campus are offered the OPTION of purchasing any of
the meal plans available. They may choose Plan A (19 meals per week), Plan C (10 meals per
week) or Plan D (5 meals per week). Only one meal can be obtained in the designated meal
“zone”. See http://reslife.bloomu.edu/mealplans.php for full meal plan details.
There is no FLEX available during the Summer.
II. AGREEMENT TERMS
The food service agreement is binding for the period of the Summer session selected in MyHousing
and may not be transferred or reassigned. Food service fees do not cover vacation periods when
the university is officially closed. Students may change their choice of meal plan at the end of
any week during the Summer session.
III. FEES/REFUNDS
Summer dining plans are billed at a weekly rate for the Summer session selected. A student who
terminates this agreement during a given week will be billed for the entire week. The student will
be charged for their dining plan to the end of the week in which this agreement is terminated.
Food service fees are approved by the Council of Trustees and may be changed during the
agreement period only by action of the Council of Trustees. Payment of fees must be made
according to deadline dates indicated on the billing statement.
Students must obtain the written permission of the Residence Life Office to be released from
all food service obligations. Not using or underutilizing a chosen meal plan during the term
of the agreement is not sufficient grounds for a refund request.
IV. TERMINATION
The university may terminate the Food Service Agreement for violations of any of the provisions
herein, for violations of university regulations, health or for any other reason deemed sufficient by
university officials.
THE EXECUTION OF THIS AGREEMENT REQUIRES THAT BEFORE REGISTRATION, THE
STUDENT MUST HAVE SATISFIED ALL OUTSTANDING OBLIGATIONS TO THE UNIVERSITY
FROM PRIOR PERIODS OF ATTENDANCE INCLUDING BASIC ADMISSIONS, HOUSING, AND
FOOD SERVICE FEES.
I have read the above terms and conditions.
