3. Information General
Eligibility
IRV membership is required in order to compete at official IRV championships (World
Championships, Team World Cup). The nationality of a gymnast is determined by his/her
passport and the minimum membership is “entry level” membership.

All delegations und accompanying persons/tourists register accommodation and board through
the local organiser AICS (see first page). AICS offers moderately priced packages (for us =
Category B) including everything from accommodation, full board, local transportation,
registration fees, welcome package to physiotherapy (for everybody).
Airport Shuttle = extra 50 € per person.

Anti-Doping Regulation
Doping contradicts the fundamental principles of sport as well as medical ethics and is strictly
forbidden.
Doping is defined as the use of substances and/or methods that can enhance physical
performance and/or be potentially damaging to the health. Doping includes the presence of a
forbidden substance in an athlete’s body.
Doping controls can be carried out at anytime and anywhere, whether in a noncompetitive context (e.g. at an international training camp) or at a competitive event such as the
World Championships or Team World Cup.
All those encompassed by these Articles of Association shall be obliged to respect the World
Anti‐Doping Program of the World Anti-Doping Agency. The current regulations can be found
under www.wada-ama.org (Article 12/IRV Articles of Association )
Each official participant must sign the Anti Doping Agreement (see CSIT Final Invitation).
The signed Agreements must be handed in (per delegation) during the Orientation Meeting
(Monday 14 - 15).
CSIT Anti Doping Corner: Inside the Medical Centre in the Sport Village GETUR, close to the
Accreditation Bureau and the Casa Italia.
Insurance
Each participant must have a valid Accident Insurance and International Health
Insurance.

Health Certificate
According to the Italian law every participant must carry a personal Health Certificate,
This Health Certificate must confirm that she/he is in good health and able to take part
in the Wheel Gymnastics/Cyr Wheel World Championships. This must be confirmed by
a doctor.
Tickets
All officially registered persons have free access to all events and venues (including Opening and
Closing Show).
4. Information Judges
Each participating country at the World Championships must register one judge per 4
competitors. Judges are not permitted to compete at the championships and should
also be free of other obligations.

These judges must have a basic judging qualification (written confirmation of judging
competence)
All judges must attend the Judges’ Seminar (Monday 09:00–12:00 and 14:00–16:00).
All judges must attend the pre-competition judges’ meetings.
The ITC in co-operation with the IRV Judging Officer will decide which judges to use in the
championships.
More information can be found in the IRV Competition Rules.
All judges are requested to dress according to the following dress code:

Black trousers/skirt. NO jeans!
White shirt/blouse (long sleeved – no T-Shirt)
Black blazer/black jacket
Tie (men) – will be provided by the IRV
Scarf (women) – will be provided by the IRV
BLACK matching, suitable shoes. NO trainers! NO stilettos!

The delegations register their judges online under www.rhoenrad.com (together with the
registration of the gymnasts, coaches, physiotherapists).

All Around Wheel Gymnastics
For the All Around Competition the results in all three disciplines (straight-line, spiral, vault)
for each competition category (junior girls, junior boys, senior women, senior men) will be added
together to give a combined score. The winner in each competition category will be All Around
world champion.
Team Championship Wheel Gymnastics
For the Team Championship a maximum of one team per country may be entered, whereby
a team consists of minimum four, maximum six gymnasts (junior/senior/male/female). The
best four teams (calculated from the results of the individual team members in the All Around
competition) will then proceed to the team final where the world team champion will be decided.

General Rule:
Each delegation can register a maximum of five women and five men for the Cyr Wheel World
Championships.
Cyr Wheel All Around
For the All Around Competition the results in both disciplines Technical Program and Free
Program will be added together to give a combined score. The winner in each competition
category will be All Around world champion.
Cyr Wheel Final
The best four women and the best four men from the All Around competition qualify for the final.
The final will take place within the Wheel Gymnastics Team Final.
The qualified gymnasts show a shortened Free Program.

Modus Operandi:
Battle → total time 3 minutes, e.g. each gymnast performs for 1.30 minutes in the semi
final/final (bring your own music). The lower ranked gymnast from the All Around competition
starts.
Rating:
Immediately after the end of the battle a jury consisting of five persons will announce the winner
of the semi final/the final.

To avoid technical problems all your music must be available in mp3 format and must be
uploaded in advance to www.rhoenrad.com before 23 May 2015:
Please also bring your music on a memory stick - in case it gets lost etc. Music on CDs will no
longer be accepted.

A maximum of five gymnasts per country may compete in each competition category (e.g.
junior girls).

The following quota regulation determines the minimum number of gymnasts per country
in relation to the number of disciplines competed.

Country X registers 5 junior girls. Of these 5 gymnasts, at least 3 must take part in 2 disciplines

b) Proof of nationality
During the competitions in Lignano all gymnasts must be able to provide proof of their
nationality by means of a valid passport, ID card etc.

According to their IRV membership status, each participant must pay the following registration

The invoices – based on the Preliminary Registrations, the Membership Status and the resulting
Annual Contributions - will be sent out within the next few weeks.
Potential differences between the Preliminary Registration and the actual numbers from the Main
Registration will be refunded or claimed during the World Championships in Lignano.
