Paid Social Media Executive
Duties to include:
• Responsibility for the activation, optimisation and performance analysis of campaigns
• Working with account managers to understand campaign objectives and recommend
solutions
• Reporting on and monitoring clients, competitors and market activity
• Working with our in house designers on campaign assets (ad content, web pages etc.)
• Considering innovative ways to boost campaign performance
• Assessing campaign performance against delivery and budget KPIs
• Provide updates to internal teams on active campaigns
Required skills:
We are looking for an analytical individual, who is able to self-motivate and work on their own
initiative to take on new challenges. Although the below skills/experience are certainly
beneficial they are not essential for the right candidate.
• Previous experience in biddable channels and/or paid social; either agency or client side
• Understanding of how to define, segment and target campaigns at people online
• Knowledge of the various paid social platforms and tool providers
• Highly numerate (intermediate/advanced Excel skills) and PC literate
• Proven track record results, achieving set KPIs
Qualifications
• Educated to A-level but preferably degree level with a marketing/business/maths/design
bias
• Digital marketing qualifications are an advantage but not essential

R&D Manager
The R&D Manager will look at existing and new platforms to ensure that we are at the forefront
of identifying further commercial opportunities in the social channel. In addition you will assess
various third party software to understand whether it could enhance the Ropto offering. The role
is a niche role and does require a self-starter and someone with an inquisitive and commercial
mind. The R&D Manager will report directly to the Managing Director.
Duties to include:
• Liaise with existing Platform Account Managers to maximise opportunities
• Highlight commercial opportunities within Ropto’s existing client base
• Explore third party software to enhance the Ropto offering
• Prepare documentation to assess the platforms/third party applications
Required skills:
• Understanding across all digital media channels and how multi-channel integration can
work
• Excellent attention to detail to understand nuances between the various social media
platforms
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Numerical and have an understanding of digital media metrics
Qualifications:
• Preferably educated to degree level but not essential
• At least two years’ experience in a digital media role of any type
Business Development – Junior & Senior (Based on
experience)
Duties to include:
• Proactively make contact with a target list of clients who would benefit from Ropto’s
services
• Educating prospective clients and agencies on the process of social media customer
acquisition and engagement
• Work in close communication with other parts of the business in order to service clients
effectively
• Negotiate contracts within strict expected margin boundaries
• Prepare weekly activity and forecast reports
• Proving that Social Media can deliver real ROI!
Required skills:
• Intermediate understanding of social media applications – normally acquired through
personal use
• Excellent written, verbal communication skills
• Drive and ambition with a real desire to succeed
Qualifications:
• Degree educated preferred but not essential
• Proven track record in sales, preferably service led
Creative Lead / Senior Designer
Duties to include:
• Working on major projects for household name companies
• Liaising with the Creative Director you will be responsible for the magic that makes each
client’s campaign successful
• On a day to day basis expect to:
o have complete creative freedom
o have a hands-on approach to projects
o assist in client meetings
o create time-planning projects
o provide insight into the future growth of the agency
Required skills:
• Experience working with brands across digital platforms
• Rationale and strategic thinking behind all your design projects
• Client facing skills
• Feel comfortable delivering at pace when required
• Inspire a team to think differently about how they use design
• Understanding of design for digital, branding and video - with a particular emphasis on
what makes a killer advert on social media channels with high conversion rates
Qualifications:
• 5+ years experience
• Solid portfolio of design work that you have been responsible for
