DECLARATION BY EXHIBITOR:
1. I declare that the particulars on this entry form are true and verify
that all cattle to be exhibited at the Royal Show are disease free. In
this regard, I understand that it is my responsibility to provide
documented confirmation, during the Show period, if so requested.
Para 5.3 of the Society’s Regulations states:
Any person who shall bring any diseased animal of any kind to the
Show shall be liable to a fine of R2 000 and shall be disqualified from
receiving any of the benefits of the Society.
2. I am aware of and agree to be bound by the General Regulations of
the Society and those governing Livestock Exhibitors. I understand
that the Society’s Public Liability Insurance Policy does not cover
exhibitors or their animals and it is in my interests, therefore, to
obtain my own Public Liability Insurance cover for the Show period.
Commercial animals, halter-trained or not, are required to be tied up at
all times. Sufficient handlers must be available to exercise control of
animals on arrival at the Showgrounds.
