Donations
and Bequests
The Gift of Giving
A Century of Giving
Every year RSL LifeCare helps Australians in crisis.
Demands on our services are still escalating.
RSL LifeCare grew from a commitment to look after
those that needed help. Donations and Bequests have
played a huge part of RSL LifeCare’s history since 1911,
when we first began at Bare Island on Botany Bay.
The need for services continues to grow with
thousands of senior Australians looking to RSL LifeCare
for assistance. RSL Life Care is ready to answer these
needs and invites people to support us with a Donation
or Bequest.
Thank you for considering RSL LifeCare.

Bequests
One important way you can help in the future is by
including a Bequest in your Will. We ask people to
consider putting RSL LifeCare in their Will so that we
can continue to provide facilities and services to help
people in their time of need.
Whatever amount you bequeath be assured that it will
be an enduring tribute to your generosity and concern
for welfare.
Bequests are often referred to as “the gift that
never stops giving”. These gifts are generally used
for capital development projects such as aged care
facilities. RSL LifeCare is grateful to receive a specific
bequest, your entire estate, or a small percentage.
Our History
RSL LifeCare is a charitable organisation that was
formed in 1911 to provide care and service to war
veterans. From small beginnings providing care
and service to just a handful of war veterans, the
organisation has grown to be one of the largest senior
living services in Australia.
Caring for 5000 people across Independent Living,
Community Care, Assisted Living, Dementia and Nursing
Home, we have developed an extensive range of services
that fosters independence and provides social, clinical,
emotional and spiritual support.
Despite our growth and the passage of time,
RSL LifeCare remains true to its original aim and
mission – to provide a home of peace and security
to senior Australians.
