Opportunity for Market Exposure by SAAFF Members

Opportunity for Market Exposure by SAAFF Members
Automechanika Johannesburg is the largest automotive aftermarket business to business trade show
on the African continent, serving South Africa and the entire sub-Saharan African Region. The Show
is held every two years and the fourth edition will be held at Expo Centre, Nasrec, 6-9 May 2015.
(See www.automechanikasa.co.za)
The automotive aftermarket includes mechanical and collision parts, components, tools, garage and
fitment equipment, lubricants, tyres and associated products and services.
The third edition of the Show in 2013 hosted 643 exhibitors from 23 countries and the international
flavour of the event and the wide visitation by business owners, managers and decision -makers
from all over South Africa and African countries south of the Sahara is a clear indication that
logistics, import and export activity is a backbone activity in this industry sector.
Automechanika Johannesburg 2015 could be a valuable business opportunity for SAAFF members to
participate as exhibitors and promote their service offerings to visitors and exhibitors at the Show.
It is with this in mind that we have come to an arrangement with SA Shows Messe Frankfurt, the
Organisers of Automechanika Johannesburg 2015, to provide for a SAAFF Pavilion at the Show to
make cost-effective , yet visible, participation in the event a reality for Members of the Association.
The proposed SAAFF Pavilion will consist of 9 square metre booths (3 x 3 metres). A stand can be
made available to SAAFF members at a rate of R 20 866 per stand plus VAT. This price includes a 9
square metre stand as part of the SAAFF Pavilion, shell scheme, carpeting, one 15 amp power point,
the exhibitor’s name on the fascia board in standard format and a Show Catalogue entry .
Members who participate in the SAAFF Pavilion have the advantage of being identified as members
of the Association, thereby lending huge credibility to their standing as industry players.
Interested members are requested to contact Robert Kaiser of Automechanika Johannesburg at
011-494-5003 or email him at [email protected] with a view to participating in the
SAAFF Pavilion at the Show.
