whether simple cooking tasks or leaving home to go shopping? We can help.
Meals on Wheels of the Palm Beaches provides meal delivery services to
residents in the in West Palm Beach area and surrounding areas. Meal delivery services are provided five days a week from Monday to Friday between
11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
A professional chef and staff expertly prepare our meals where they ensure
each meal is nutritious and delicious. All of our meals are planned by registered dietitians and are prepared by a professional staff.
Our caring and trusted volunteers are trained to deliver meals to the homes of
our meal recipients and check on their well-being five days a week.

“LA TRANSFIGURACIÓN DEL SEÑOR”
En el evangelio de hoy, san Mateo nos presenta la transfiguración del Señor se transfiguró en la presencia de 3 de sus discípulos donde Él reveló su gloria y majestad como hijo de Dios. El domingo pasado hemos visto cómo satanás tentó al Señor empezando
su diálogo con el Señor así: “Si tu eres el hijo de Dios…” pero
Jesús ni confirmó o negó su identidad durante el diálogo con satanás. Pero en el evangelio de hoy Jesús en su camino hacia Jerusalén, donde Él va a sufrir y morir por nuestros pecados’ Él quiso
fortalecer la fe de sus discípulos; Él reveló a ellos su gloria como
hijo de Dios. Durante la transfiguración del Señor, Moisés (el gran
libertador) y Elías (el gran profeta) estaban presentes dialogando
con Jesús, y después una nube luminosa los cubrió y de ella salió la
voz del padre Dios que decía claramente: Este es mi hijo muy
amado, en quien tengo puestas mis complacencias, escuchenlo”.
Mis hermanos el padre ya habló. El nos dio la única instrucción que debemos de seguir que es de escuchar a su hijo muy
amado, Jesucristo. Como los 3 discípulos en el evangelio de hoy
somos también bendecidos de experimentar la transfiguración del
Señor cada vez que participamos en una celebración Eucarística
donde el Señor revela su gloria y majestad a nosotros en una forma
real y concreta. Mis hermanos tratemos de vivir una vida santa durante esta semana santa para que nuestro padre Dios sea complacido con nosotros!
