THEME:
This exhibition is open to animal art of non-traditional medium. Examples include, but are not
limited to, animal sculptures made of buttons, spoons, bones or recycled materials, paintings or
drawings done on animal hides, etc.

ELIGIBILITY:
Everyone is eligible and encouraged to submit their best works. All artworks must be original.
Jurying will be done by photograph submission. For art work done in 2D you must submit a minimum
of one photo and for art work done in 3D you must submit three photos from different vantages. All
entries must include a Title, a short (under 250 word) artist’s bio and/or statement, and a description
of the media and/or process of making the art piece. 2D artwork must be no larger than 48” X 60” and
all artwork should be professionally presented and ready to display or hang.
CATEGORIES:
A jury panel will jury entries into the show and make awards in the following categories:
Best of Show (all entries included)
Best Child Piece (ages 10 and under)
AWARDS:
Cash prizes will be awarded as follows:
Best of Show: $500
Best Child Piece: $50 gift card
People Choice Awards: Ribbon awards
LIABILITY:
Although reasonable care will be taken in handling and displaying artwork, the International Wildlife
Museum and its staff will not be responsible for damage or loss. Due to lack of storage space, artists
must pick up their artwork by the designated date. Work left longer than 7 days becomes the property
of the International Wildlife Museum.
ENTRY PROCEDURE:
• Complete entry form.
• 2D Artwork: Submit one picture of artwork.
• 3D Artwork: Submit three pictures of artowrk. Pictures need to be taken from three different viewpoints; front, back and side view.
IMPORTANT:
No additions or changes to size of artwork will be permitted once entry form and pictures have been
submitted and accepted. Keep a copy of your entry form for your reference. The International Wildlife
Museum reserves the right to refuse any accepted artwork deemed unsuitable due to a difference in
quality from the photo image.
