Patient Leadership Programme on behalf of Healthwatch Tower Hamlets and Tower Hamlets Clinical Commissioning Group Are you or do you know someone who is: Passionate about improving health or social care services in Tower Hamlets Has creative ideas on how to improve the health of the local community has the potential to develop as leader in influencing health and social care What is the Patient Leadership Programme? Its training programme that aims to develop the ability of a selected group of Tower Hamlets residents to influence and actively shape local health and social care. The programme is made up of workshops, coaching and networking. Participants have the chance to work on ‘change project’ of their own design. The next programme runs from May 2015 to March 2016. How might I gain? Previous participants have developed a wide range of skills, knowledge & confidence been actively influencing local health decision making within the NHS gained paid & unpaid work through their involvement Come and find out whether this is a programme for you and what we can offer.
