Our summer program is geared towards movement,
whether by practicing sports, dancing, singing or just
having fun. This summer will be very ACTIVE!
We developed a global theme for the season, as well as specific themes for
every week

experience an unforgettable summer!

The Summer Playground Team is not responsible for the loss, breakage or theft of
any personal belongings such as toys, IPods, electronic games, mobile phones, etc. It
is strongly recommended to keep those belongings at home.

Daycare service
Offered Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the fees listed
hereunder.
There is a possibility of offering an extra Daycare service for the week of August 17 th for
school aged children at a cost of $100 for the week (no daily rates). You may reserve this
service on the registration form. This extra week will not be offered if less than 15
registrations are received.
Monitor-in-Training ‘PAM’ (Programme apprenti-moniteur)
For young people ages 12 and older (high school age).
This program offers young people the chance to learn how a daycamp works from the
perspective of the monitors.
These young people will participate in the organization, the planning and the animation of
the different activities. Also, they will help look after the Playground participants during
the weekly outings and Village Vacances.
‘PAMs’ who are registered for a minimum of 3 weeks benefit from a free summer pass to
the Village Vacances Valcartier. However, we reserve the right to cancel the pass or require
that the parent reimburse the cost of the pass if we judge that the PAM does not behave in
a responsible manner.
The cost of the PAM program is the same as for the Summer Playground, and bus
transportation is also included.
Playgroup
Schedule: Tuesdays to Thursdays from 9 am to 4 pm
Recreational activities are offered to children between 3 and 5 years of age. The goal of
this group is to help children socialize through games, arts and crafts, songs, stories, etc.
First come, first served!
Please note that unless the child is accompanied by an older child (9+), bus transportation
is not recommended for Playgroup children.

date and no rebate will be applied. Also, any modification made to the registration after the
prescribed period will be subject to a $25 administrative fee (add or cancel a week).

Children from the same family (residents only) are eligible for a family discount on Playground and Playgroup
fees only. The parent must calculate fees with the applicable discount and make payments in accordance. The
family discount applies only to registrations received before May 29th Cannot be combined with any other

Registration terms
You must fill out and sign both the registration form and payment options. (Distributed in the schools in
May and available on-line on the municipal web-site at www.saint-gabriel-de-valcartier.ca)
Please note that no discounts will be applied after the registration period from May 4 th to May 29th.
By mail: Only cheques are accepted by mail. Fill out forms and include a cheque (or 2 cheques, please see
payment options below) made out to Municipalité de Saint-Gabriel-de-Valcartier and send to the following
address : 1743 Boulevard Valcartier, Saint-Gabriel-de-Valcartier (Quebec) G0A 4S0
Night deposit box: Cheques only. Same procedure as above, deposit your envelope to the attention of
PLAYGROUND REGISTRATION in the slot located to the right of the entrance to the municipal office and
identified DÉPÔT DE NUIT (we will not be held responsible for any cash payments in the night deposit).
In person: You can pay by cheque, direct payment or cash during business hours, Monday to Friday from
8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 to 4:30 p.m.
No REGISTRATIONS will be accepted by PHONE or by EMAIL MESSAGE. Signed forms accompanied by
payment are required for a registration to be considered valid.
Please indicate the name of your child on your cheque dated no later than May 29 th. For amounts over $125,
you may make out two cheques equal to 50% each of the total amount. The second cheque must be dated no
later than July 1st. Any registration received after May 29th will have to be paid in full. If you are experiencing
financial difficulties, please contact Pamala Hogan Laberge to make payment arrangements. A penalty of $15
will be charged for any NSF cheques and cash payment will be required.
A registration will only be accepted if all previous outstanding balances (for any Sports and Recreation
activities) have been paid in full as well as the 2015 registration in cash.
All registrations and payments are the management’s responsibility and not the monitors’.
