SCHOOL ADMINISTRATOR
CONSTRUCTED RESPONSE
STATUS INQUIRY
QUICK GUIDE & ILLUSTRATED HELP
Version 1.5.1.1
It is not always easy as a school administrator to keep abreast of the testing process within your
building. This guide will help you determine for those tests requiring constructed response rubric scoring
what the current status of that process is for your staff.
NOTE—this function is designed to aid building-level administrators. If you are NOT a school
administrator security level user you must assume that role in order to access this option.
QUICK GUIDE
1. Login to the Phoenix web site and select the “Rubric/CR Scoring” option from the Assessment menu.
2. In the “Task” dropdown select the “CR Short Answer Posting Status” option.
3. District assessments are selected by default. Tests that are currently active and administered at your
school are listed. NOTE—other test options are not currently available.
4. Select the desired assessment by clicking the checkbox beside the test name.
5. A panel will be displayed on the right side of the page listing those teachers and classes that have
been administered the selected assessment. The list will be in teacher name order. Each individual
course and section will be listed for each teacher.
6. Columns represent:
Per:
Scheduling period
Course-Sct:
Scheduling course and section
Tot Scores:
Total scores posted for the course-section.
No CR Scores: Number of students within total that have NO CR scores posted (will be in RED).
CR Posted:
Number of students within total that DO have CR scores posted.
7. You can continue down the list of assessments on the left by clicking each in turn.
8. Return to the home page dashboard using the “HOME” link when finished.

ILLUSTRATED HELP GUIDE
1. Log into the Phoenix program and select the Rubric/CR Scoring
option from the green Assessment menu.
NOTE—the Rubric/CR Scoring option is only available to school-based staff.
District administrators will need to assume the role of a school
administrator to view this information.
2. Click the “Task” dropdown and select
the “CR Short Answer Posting Status”
option from the list.
3. A list of active assessments will be
displayed on the left side of the page.
These tests are currently “active” tests based on the testing and assessment calendars.
4. The checkboxes allow selection of
those types of tests that are housed within the
database. Test types that do not contain
rubric-based questions are grayed-out. District
assessments are the default selection.
5. Tests listed are those tests that have
been administered at your school. Until an
assessment is administered and potential CR
point entry is available, a test will not be listed.
6. The corresponding test identification
number and testing window dates are also
shown for each test.
7. Note the checkbox beside each listed test. These can be clicked on using your mouse to view the
detail status for that test at your school.
