When this work starts, there will be a fence that will run from the old tennis courts to the building site. This will mean that access to the back of the oval will be blocked for part of each day. Please take note of this if you are using that point to drop your children off at school. Athletics Day The Cairns West State School Athletics Day will this year be held at Barlow Park on Wednesday 3 June. All students will travel by bus, to and from Barlow Park, on the day. There will be buses available to help transport parents and community members wanting to attend. Letters will be sent home tomorrow. Multicultural Festival This year 5B will be running the plant stall in the Multicultural Festival and we would like some help from any of the green thumbs out there, if you are willing to pot up some cuttings or do some planting for the festival. If you are not a gardener you can still help. Donations of cuttings, potting mix, pots, and plants would be greatly appreciated. We would like to offer well established plants this year, so I am starting early on the preparations. Any donations can be dropped off to F Block just behind the tuckshop.
