Land Judging is an exciting 4-H and FFA competition in which Middle and High School students observe and interpret the soil in order to make wise land use decisions. Our team members included: Alexander Yelvington (state high individual), Emmett Lee (3rd highest individual), Canyon Albright and Jacob Yelvington. Alternates were Dylan Jackson and Amanda Lawson. Brevyn Forman was their student coach, who is the former state champion and national runner up team member. Next, the team will compete in the National Land and Homesite L to R: Emmett Lee, Jacob Yelvington, Alex Yelvington, Canyon Albright contest which will be held in Oklahoma. “We are so very proud of these students and know they will be great at Nationals,” said Ms. Hall. One Blood will be on campus April 29-30 during both lunches for students to sign up. Students, ages 16 and up, will be able to sign up, but must have their parent/guardian sign a permission slip in order to participate. The blood buses will park in front of the auditorium.
