Salary Range: £23,000 to £28,000 per annum

Navitas is a diversified global education provider that offers an extensive range of educational services for
students and professionals including university programs, language training, workforce education and student
recruitment.
The Marketing Coordinator (MC) assists the Marketing Manager/Admission team of the College and provides inoffice support to the Marketing Team in the areas of marketing administration, conversion strategies, inbound
familiarisation tours and campus tours.
The MC will also be required to provide general support to the Marketing team in the areas of materials
distribution, filing, updating Agency records, liaising as necessary with travel agency regarding travel
arrangements for the Marketing Team; liaising with inbound visitors and visiting groups, campus tours for
visitors and answering phone calls for all members of the Marketing of the Team when their stations are
unattended. Furthermore, the MC is expected to assist the Student Services Team in the provision of an
extensive and comprehensive after-sales service to students at peak times in February, June and
September/October just before, during and following a new commencement.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:









A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
Possess knowledge of Education Services Industry in the UK and overseas education systems
Possess a working understanding of the Tier 4 regulations and the QAA’s Code of Practice
Have administrative experience in a multi-cultural environment
Demonstrate polished interpersonal communication and negotiation skills inclusive of writing,
communication and presentation skills
Demonstrate a proven ability as a team player
Demonstrate proven ability to organise own workload to cope with simultaneous demands
Have good knowledge and experience in using Windows-based software applications
Flexible attitude to work including a willingness to work weekends and evenings in support of recruitment
activities, where required

The MC assists the Marketing/Admission team of the College to which he/she is attached. The position is
designed to provide in-office support to the Marketing Team in the areas of marketing administration,
conversion strategies, inbound familiarisation tours and campus tours.
The MC works as part of a team in the implementation of the marketing plan, with particular
involvement in the follow-up of applicants and conversion process.
The MC will also be required to provide general support to the Marketing team in the areas of materials

Possess a Bachelor’s/tertiary degree level qualifications in a services marketing or related
discipline, together with services marketing experience
Be part of the College marketing/admission process, with particular focus on student
recruitment through the follow-up of sales and conversion process
Demonstrate polished interpersonal communication and negotiation skills inclusive of writing,
communication and presentation skills with a variety of cultural and ethnic stakeholder groups
Have a working understanding of education services marketing
Have a working knowledge of the Tier 4 compliance regulations and QAA’s Code of Practice
Demonstrate an effective knowledge of university pathway programmes
Possess expertise in the area of front-line customer relationship management
Have experience in an education or customer services focused environment
A track record of promoting and selling educational services
A demonstrated ability to set and meet sales targets in a complex services environment
Proven ability to participate in a recruitment programme and implement recruitment strategies
and sales tactics
Have extensive knowledge and experience in using Windows-based software applications

Must be able to spend extended time away from home travelling within the UK and overseas; able to
commute reliably to office base and work extended hours on occasions when required.
Specific Job Skills
Able to communicate and motivate via written media; understands the principles of marketing and
advertising cost-effectiveness, including market sector targeting, product offer development, featuresbenefits-solutions selling, cost per response, cost per conversion, etc. Appreciates need for consistency
within company's branding and marketing mix, especially PR and the Internet.
Computer skills
Must be adept in use of MS Office 2007 or later, particularly Excel and Word, and ideally Access or similar
database to basic level, Internet and email.
Business and Selling Skills
Must be an excellent face-to-face and telephone communicator who is able to demonstrate success and
experience managing major accounts customers, large contracts or even a business, particularly
achieving genuine sales development. Ideal background would be in services industry.
