Navitas English is funded by the government to provide the Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP). We are
committed to working with Federal and State Governments, education providers, communities, employers and
industry groups to provide the language, literacy and numeracy skills that meet the settlement, study and
employment goals of our clients.
The Program Administrator is responsible for ensuring program compliance and providing support to teachers in
matters of contract compliance.
Key objectives will include:





accurate record keeping
data entry and reporting to meet contract KPIs related to service delivery and maintain RTO compliance
to ensure program requirements are consistently met through accurate documentation, recording and
reporting
Essential Criteria





Able to manage accurate administrative procedures and record-keeping
Able to recognize and address procedural or administrative issues relating to client outcomes
Knowledge of program and contract requirements
Able to instruct and direct staff to meet client and program requirements
Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Desirable Criteria

Knowledge of contract KPIs

Previous experience in government contract management

Demonstrated experience in the education sector

Demonstrated knowledge of compliance in the regulatory environment

Skills and experience in the provision of local IT support services

Ensures client participation is facilitated by:

coordinating client childcare needs for both onsite and mainstream childcare

liaising with college staff to ensure the timely flow of information and reporting

ensuring effective communication and information dissemination practices for staff

promoting effective teamwork to create a collaborative and positive working environment.
Program Administrative Services
Coordinates program administration by:

providing regular program information, updates and reports to the Manager

providing relevant program information to college staff and clients

checking attendance rolls for accuracy and completion

ensuring contract compliance is ongoing and rigorous

meeting different reporting priorities and deadlines

ensuring the timely organisation and validity of data regarding client participation to be entered into
databases

ensuring the effective flow of program specific information and reports between the college and the Central
Admin Team

recognising opportunities to implement change in response to client, customer or management requests

seeking continuous improvement in procedures to maximise client and program outcomes

contributing to the review and update of policy and procedure documents.
Reporting and Administration
Ensures systems and procedures are maintained by:

following recording and reporting policies and procedures

monitoring and managing reporting documentation related to course delivery

maintaining accurate manual and computerised records and systems e.g. assessment outcomes

organising the collation, management and storage of print based and electronic program assessing and
teaching materials

working with administration and customer service teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting

assisting with audits including preparation of relevant documentation

ensuring client records are accurately maintained and securely stored according to Navitas English privacy
policy

co-operating with other Navitas English staff and external agencies to ensure Navitas English complies with
privacy regulations.
Other

seeking continuous improvement in delivery of programs and services, and implementing and modelling
high standards of work performance

liaising with and actively promoting Navitas English’s programs, services and expertise in professional
forums, and to organisation and clients

participating in and contributing to professional development programs

legislative compliance for the health and safety of staff and students at Navitas English.
